I love this song, no one knows how much this song makes me feel this song is just saying even if you are sorry I have probably moved on so your too late. Don't come to me because you see me happy with someone else. Because it's too late to apologizee, it's too late. ( :

People that know what this song is about are few and do not understand the loss of a friend.
I cried a ton when listening to this song because I understand every little bit of it and it is extremely sad.V 1 Comment
From a completely non biased stand point this should be number 1 without a doubt. Because everyone knows this song no matter who you are and it's universally sad. Sure It hasn't made me cry as much as some other songs, but it's damn close.
BEST SONG EVER, actually in love with this song I watch the film every night I can, and I just sit there and cry to myself, everyone knows I'm in love with this song, and to know that it would be number one would make my day. Its just amazing in my opinion!
It is a very nice song, and we can really imagined and realized if we listened this song when working things.. through this music, it is very lovable.
Awesome song.V 10 Comments
You simply feel it there, that painful loss of The Rev. This song is actually full of life for me, because it is about someone, who really lived. It has soul. And that's the reason why I vote for So Far Away.
This song still make me cry. Remembering me with someone I love who died years ago. So deep just like from the heart, my girl may rest in peace when I sing this song.
This song is about the passing of the rev, originally written by syn for his dead grandpa, when the rev died, the band and syn decided to write this as a tribute to the rev. this was a tossup between warmness on the soul and so far away, but so far away is more depressing. foREVer
I cry when I hear this. I want this song to be played at my funeral. - DisturbedpotatoV 20 Comments
The sheer emotion that runs through me, especially when Chester performs it live. This song sends so many feelings, and strikes me right where it counts. It's a symphony of the terror of what drugs can do to a person, combined with that small bit of hope that the light isn't out of reach.
Breaking The Habit is the saddest song with Evanescence's My Immortal. Because lyrics is so meaningful and sadness, the tune is make you cry, Chester' voice is touching and emotion and music video is so heart wrenching.
Best Linkin Park song,
Awesome Song... Just try and listen to it!
Must be higher in the listV 5 Comments
From George R.R. Martin's HBO hit "Game of Thrones, her performance of this song of tragedy is haunting. From her "Awakening" album (do listen with a subwoofer! ), and her third PBS special "Jackie Evancho: Awakening - In Concert". Jackie also appeared in an interview with George R.R. Martin on the Wall Street Journal Cafe on 10/27/2014 - Trancas
Limp Bizkit didn't even write this! It's The Who! God, people are stupid. His cover wasn't nearly as good as the original.
Also see limp bizkit's angles if you liked this.
Limp Bizkit Rock On!
Why is this song so low! It's piano and lyrics really make me feel like, I can make it through. - Deathisbeyondcontrol
This song should be at least in the top 15 or 20 it's a very sad song
Emotional song. Filled with pain.V 2 Comments
This is the ABSOLUTE saddest song I have ever heard, tear jerker every time I hear it
I'm not much listening to her song but this one, I like the sound of music and her voice that's all bring my tears to my eyes
I really love that song by her and only that song. It reminds me of a lullaby
This song is so gorgeous
Easily the saddest song on this list; it's a doleful tale of the pain associated with unrequited love with someone whom hasn't the ability to love not only others, but themselves, too. The lyrics and harmony conflate the most perfectly feeling of melancholy and utter-morose. The piano is a masterpiece of choking sadness.
Sad, but beautiful song by a great band - THEMASTER
Awesome song by a Legendary Band!
I think they have the version with the hidden track could someone change it please?
This song made me depressed but I still love this song
Um... this sample isn't boulevard of broken dreams... that's holiday... someone fix that please...V 2 Comments
Depressing song that actually sounds uplifting, but still keeping a depressing mood. It's kinda like those scenes in a movie where the main character's friend just died, but he doesn't feel sad, he just accepts the fact. In that way, it's a unique, melancholy kind of sadness. Definitely not #1, but I think it deserves a place on this list. - A7XfoREVer
This song is sadder than Hurt-Johnny Cash, My Immortal-Evanescence, Wake me up when September ends-Green Day. It deserves number one. - deandinosaur5
312... Okay, just listen to the lyrics and then tell me My Immortal is sadder.
Sadder than many of the songs on this list, I'll tell you. - LarkwingFlight
IT'S THE SADDEST SONG OF ALL TIME. HOW CAN IT BE NUMBER 93. IT NEEDS TO BE NUMBER 1 - deandinosaur5V 1 Comment
The reason this song is sad is that they're talking about a former band member by the name of Syd Barrett who left the band because of increasingly worse mental issues. He had schizophrenia, and lived as a recluse in his mother's basement for forty years. Ironically, he wandered into the studio that Pink Floyd was recording in, while they were playing this song. this was also his last encounter with the band. - ikedrums
It is so sad. You guys probably haven't ever really thought about the lyrics.
