Top 10 Overrated Game of Thrones Characters

The Top Ten
  1. Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys Targaryen is a fictional character in the fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. She also appears in the television adaptation Game of Thrones, where she is portrayed by Emilia Clarke. Daenerys is one of the last surviving members of House Targaryen and seeks to... read more

Her brother got her engaged to a warlord, she took over his army, received a couple of dragon eggs and ties the knot with her nephew. Also her nephew kinda overtakes her claim to the Iron Throne as of Season 7

Apart from a lot of moving about and telling people who she is and what's she's going to do, she hasn't actually done much in 5 and half seasons.

Most entitled character on the show I don't know why everyone calls her a badass she's literally had everything handed to her.

  2. Robb Stark

Robb Stark is a fictional character in the A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels by American author George R. R. Martin, and its television adaptation Game of Thrones. He is the eldest son of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Stark, and becomes King in the North during the War of the Five Kings. Robb... read more

I think he's the only overrated character, all the other characters are amazing and interesting, but rob stark is very bland and boring.

Boring except his love affair with the medic

    He is simply top boring.

Luke his father witouth the good things

  3. Bran Stark

I find Bran to be an interesting character, but there are so many interesting characters in GoT that he is placed quite lowly in what I would consider my favourite characters. Otherwise, might have also voted for Robb, but he seems to me to have had a more important role in the story, unless I have forgotten some things about Bran. However, I feel that Bran may become either more important or more interesting, perhaps even both, as the story progresses.

Bran Stark is a great character, and I don't think he's overrated. The fact that he was gone for a whole season and came back, without anyone noticing him being gone... It kind of states he's not overrated.

  4. Arya Stark

Arya Stark is a fictional character created by American author George R. R. Martin. She is a prominent point-of-view character in Martin's award-winning A Song of Ice and Fire series and a main character in HBO's adaptation of the series, Game of Thrones. Arya is known for her development from a rebellious... read more

An irritating character played by a terrible actress, who's in all of the shows worst plot lines. Honestly would have rather seen her killed at the end of season 7, Littlefinger was a terrible person but at least he was well acted and interesting.

Loved her until the writers decided to make her boring overpowered mary sue with a thicker armor plot than Great Wall's Steel gate. Gets to kill Phedo guard, entire Frey house, little finger, and the Night King? Totally robbed Jon's arc so SJW crew can jerk off to it.

  5. Eddard Stark

Eddard "Ned" Stark is a fictional character in the first book of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series and the first season of its television adaptation Game of Thrones. He is the head of House Stark, Lord of Winterfell, and Warden of the North. Ned is known for his honor, integrity, and... read more

He is simply overrated. Claims that he won the Blackwater but really it was his father and the Tyrells. And this entire season (7) he's done nothing but make stupid decisions which killed off all of Daenerys' allies: the Sand Snakes, Greyjoys and their ships, and most importantly, the bomb booty Queen of Thorns Olenna Tyrell.

This little guy is awesome and is most definitely not overrated. He's smart, funny, a nice guy but at the same time knows what he's doing

He sucks like hell to be honest I don't get why people or why Jaime loves him

  8. Jon Snow

Jon Snow is a fictional character in the A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels by American author George R. R. Martin, and its television adaptation Game of Thrones. He is portrayed by actor Kit Harington in the HBO series. Jon is known for his leadership in the Night's Watch and his eventual... read more

He's just too mopey for my liking. Everyone goes on about how he's so badass but I mostly just see someone who only dwells on the fact they're a bastard. There are much better characters in the show to be considered badass and overall protagonists.

Most boring character - always so placid and passive. It's almost like someone tells him what to do each day, and he just goes through the motions dispassionately. He's the real white-walker.

The only reason people like him mostly is for his looks. All he does is whine and look sad. The only real hardship he ever had was getting bullied for being a bastard.

  9. Shae

Really sexy, but she's not in it enough. Being killed is not an excuse.

  10. Khal Drogo

Khal Drogo is a fictional character in A Song of Ice and Fire, the fantasy novel series by American author George R. R. Martin. Sansa Stark is a fictional character created by American author George R. R. Martin. She is a prominent character in Martin's award-winning A Song of Ice and Fire series. Sansa is portrayed by Sophie Turner in the HBO television adaptation, Game of Thrones.

I don't get her popularity... Why does she even have fans?

Sansa has beautiful face that's it nothing else

  16. Jaime Lannister

Jaime Lannister is a fictional character created by American author George R. R. Martin. He is a prominent point of view character in Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series and also a main character in HBO's television adaptation, Game of Thrones. I don't give a crap that he crippled Bran or banged his own sister. The only thing I don't like him for is his brawl with Ned. Other than that he's my favorite characters.

He stabbed Jory in the eye and smirked, pushed a ten year old out the window and smirked, and all these people are dying because he wants to bang his psychotic sister he's no hero he is a dick!

He actually regrets doing all of these. He only did it because of cersei. Hopefully he'll see how manipulative she really is this season

Ygritte is a fictional character in the A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels by American author George R. R. Martin. She also appears in its television adaptation Game of Thrones. No question, Cersei is probably one of the most annoying characters along with Shae, Ellaria, Robin Arryn, and a couple of the newer ones that just died (The Waif/The High Sparrow)

Most annoying character in GOT. Wanted her dead since Season 1

  23. Lyanna Mormont

I don't understand why she's popular. Like all she gives are these ugly expressions and says "King of the North," at least she used to. Now she's so eager to kick Jon out just because he went South. She's arrogant and annoying. If I was her, I would've gone too just to get some sun for my complexion.
