Top 10 Songs You'd Like to See Iron Maiden Perform on Their Book of Souls 2017 Tour

Iron Maiden played a great tour in 2016, and this year it would be fair to assume they'd play the same setlist. But suppose they were to swap around a couple of songs which ones should they bring back and which ones should they keep?

This list will be ranked on the basis of how much do you want it heard, how plausible would it be, whether or not they played it last time, which ones you don't want to see go, etc.

Feel free to add your wanted songs below.
The Top Ten
1 Rime of the Ancient Mariner Rime of the Ancient Mariner Cover Art

A long shot, but not impossible. I'd hate to see what songs they'd have to kick off to squeeze this one in, but it'd probably be worth it with Bruce's way of telling a story through song and that ominous middle section. - SuperSonic17

2 Aces High Aces High Cover Art

More likely to return. It's not too long a track, it's a catchy shredder and a firm fan favourite. - SuperSonic17

3 Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Cover Art

Last time they didn't play anything from their Seventh Son album. It would be nice to hear the title track again. - SuperSonic17

4 Run to the Hills Run to the Hills Cover Art

A once common live song, but one that pretty much everyone would be familiar with. I personally would swap it with Wasted Years as I feel this song works better as a show closer. - SuperSonic17

5 Ghost of the Navigator Ghost of the Navigator Cover Art

Last time I saw them they played Blood Brothers, so it would also be good to hear this kickass song. - SuperSonic17

6 22 Acacia Avenue 22 Acacia Avenue Cover Art

Last tour they played Children of the Damned, and the tour before that they played The Prisoner, so it would only make sense they play this one as a way of cycling through songs on The Number of the Beast album. - SuperSonic17

7 Flash of the Blade Flash of the Blade Cover Art

Has never been played live before, but there's always a first time for everything. This one wouldn't eat up too much of a set and I'm sure the band have played tougher songs. It could happen. - SuperSonic17

8 The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg Cover Art

Iron Maiden's newer work often gets forgotten. Whilst I would like mostly classic Maiden a couple of 2000s songs wouldn't go amiss either, particularly this one from A Matter of Life and Death. - SuperSonic17

9 Tears of a Clown Tears of a Clown Cover Art

One of the Book of Souls songs I hope they keep, as it's a tribute to the late Robin Williams. Keep playing this song to honour a man who brought a smile to so many faces. - SuperSonic17

10 Hallowed Be Thy Name Hallowed Be Thy Name Cover Art

Come on, do I even need to say why? It's Hallowed Be Thy Name, of course I'd want them to keep this one. - SuperSonic17

12 Empire of the Clouds Empire of the Clouds Cover Art
13 Alexander the Great (356-323 B.C.) Alexander the Great (356-323 B.C.) Cover Art
14 Infinite Dreams Infinite Dreams Cover Art

They ignored this gem on the Maiden England tour. Whilst Seventh Son is my favourite, I was lucky enough to see that back in 2013.
This would be my ideal, impossible to play set:

1. If Eternity Should Fail
2. Speed of Light
3. Murders in the Rue Morgue
4. 2 Minutes to Midnight
5. Children of the Damned
6. The Trooper
7. The Red and the Black
8. Afraid to Shoot Strangers
9. Phantom of the Opera
10. Where Eagles Dare
11. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
12. The Book of Souls
13. Infinite Dreams
14. Stranger in a Strange Land
15. Fear of the Dark
16. Iron Maiden

17. Empire of the Clouds
18. The Number of the Beast
19. Hallowed Be Thy Name
20. Run to the Hills - IronSabbathPriest
