Top 10 Things to Do Rather Than Being Online All the Time

Seriously, people are online WAY too much nowadays. Back in the 2000s the internet was still good but not as prominent as it is today. Now people are constantly glued to their phones and computers and it's seriously unhealthy for one's own mental and emotional health.

Now the internet is important and all but IMHO, it should only be used for research ohrposes and not for entertainment (like I said, surfing it too much is bad for mental and emotional health). That's why I've compiled a list of activities people should rather do instead of being online all the time. There's way more to life than internet ya know.

1 Going outside.

True. Especially in the daytime in summers

2 Reading a book.

I know people use kindles now but it's still important to read an actual book. You can't just stay glued to a screen all the time.

3 Exercising.

I always make sure to exercise once or twice a week at the gym. It really helps you get motivated and less stressed most of the time.

At least try to stay healthy. Get off the couch every once in awhile

4 Taking a walk.

I usually take about three to four walks a day. It would especially be good enough for me considering how it's in the middle of spring and I can go outside more.

Ten thousand steps per day is good

5 Swimming.

This is a great activity to do, especially during the summer time.

Eh, not a fan of it. I'm the worst swimmer in my class

6 Playing sports.

Not the biggest sports guy but they are important, and we can all agree that exercise isn't just for athletes.

7 Learning a language

I wanna learn a language. Everyone should be fluent in at least 2 languages in my opinion. Any suggestions?

Currently studying french. Gonna learn lithuanian, russian, esperanto and turkish in the future as well

Yeah I have to or else the Duolingo bird will not free my family.

8 Watching a movie.

I get that people can now watch movies on Netflix but I personally like only renting one in the mail by them and just watching one I own anyway.

This I fully disagree with, as you are in a way, just throwing a bit of life in the trash can here as you just stare at some pixels on screen

9 Meditating

It's good for your soul. It helps you relax and calm you down more whenever you feel stressed out.

10 Drawing.

Now I'm no artist but lots of people love to draw in order to distract them from all sorts of stressful things going on around them, and I can definitely agree with that. I especially would rather draw in real life rather than on a total porn site (*cough* DeviantART *cough*).

12 Riding a bike.

Sometimes it could be good enough to ride your bike on a nice sunny day (just make sure to always wear a helmet though).

I don't know how lol.

13 Listening to music

Unless you have a radio you have to go online to listen to music.
