Worst Comeback Albums Ever

The Top Ten

1 Chinese Democracy - Guns N' Roses

This was actually a very good come back, considering their effort was without Slash. I specifically liked it's diversity, covering many genres in the process, instead of sticking with hard-rock cliches. Axl's vocals along with Buckethead' guitar-work formed decent melodies even though they were not as good as they were during Slash's time-period in Guns N' Roses.

In conclusion, this was a decent album although not as good as the classic Guns N' Roses ones. Also take into consideration that classic Guns N' Roses albums were a collective effort while this was mostly lead under by Axl's creative effort. - Joeljohns249

There were only like 2 or 3 good songs on this album in my opinion - ToddHoward

What are you on dude this album was great

Haha, what are YOU on dude, this album was NOT great...By the way, I don't do drugs. Never did. - Metal_Treasure

Guns and roses made another terrible album? Why? - LightningStrike

2 Indie Cindy - The Pixies

Sorry, but I actually really like this album. In fact, I almost like it better than Doolittle. (Unpopular opinion, I know.) - JCHOW

Indie Cindy came out in 2014, while their previous album came out in 1991 (Trompe le Monde). Long time. - Metal_Treasure

3 Psycho Circus - Kiss

I thought the song "psycho circus" was really good - ToddHoward

4 Hollyweird - Poison
5 Motley Crue - Motley Crue
6 Uncanney Valley - The Dismemberment Plan
7 What The... - Black Flag

Their comeback album released in 2013. It was their first studio album since In My Head (one of my favorites) released in 1985. The only thing this album has that is good is Greg Ginn's riffs. They brought back their worst front man ever in Ron Reyes (who actually sounds better than he use to, but still...), sub par drumming, and God awful mixing. - THC13

The title seems strangely appropriate now in retrospect... - Gg2000

Right? Just by looking at that lame album cover make me think that. - THC13

What a terrible score it got on Metacritic - LightningStrike

8 A Momentary Lapse of Reason - Pink Floyd

This is a great album! - ryanrimmel

9 Done with Mirrors - Aerosmith
10 The X Factor - Iron Maiden

The Contenders

11 Down to Earth - Ozzy Osbourne

It came out in 2001, after Ozzmosis in 1995 that wasn't much better, if better at all. So the "come back" didn't really happen in 2001 either. - Metal_Treasure

12 Queen - Nicki Minaj

Not a comeback - JoLeKosovo

It was a long time since her last album so you could call it a come back I think (I have not heard it so I don't know if it deserves to be on this list). - Powell

13 Hardwired... to Self-Destruct - Metallica

What? No! - LightningStrike

14 Save Rock and Roll - Fall Out Boy
15 Dystopia - Megadeth
16 Nine - Blink 182
