3 Uwe Boll
Uwe Boll is a German-born Canadian filmmaker and restaurateur, whose work includes several films adapted from video games.
I think this guy is really underrated. His game adaptions are soulless amd mediocre, but his original movies like "Rampage" or "Bailout" are great. If he puts his heart into it, he really can direct amazing serious movies. His game adaptions were made so he can get money to direct his controversial serious movies, so yeah, it was made to make a quick buck, nothing more. Of course fans of the video games are angry the adaptions are not good. But really: give him a chance. He has good movies as well. Really good ones, too, but they are not for a mainstream audience.
I just made this clear so you know I'm not a hater in any way. Nevertheless: he is an angry douchebag, conspiracy theorist, and is constantly in ranting mode whatever topic he is talking about. I don't even know if there is a soft and gentle side in him. - Martin_Canine
