Stressed Out - Twenty One Pilots

Sounds like Lil Wayne? Have you even listened to Lil Wayne's music? How does this sound like Lil Wayne's drunken mumbling in any way? Also, worse lyrics? Personally I don't think anyone's sinking lower than "Beat that ***** up like Emmett Till".

Guys, this song is actually really good, and it is also rap rock with an electronic twist, so all the positive factors give it a 7/10, one of the best of 2015

Why on Earth is this on the list, it's an amazing song

Now, this is very easily the worst song on blurryface. But that isn't the song's fault, it's the album's. When you have an album with HeavyDirtySoul, Not Today, Hometown, Doubt, The Judge, Tear In My Heart, and Fairly Local, you have a lot of competition. By itself, this is a great and sufficient song, shame it was so overplayed, maybe I'd have more people on my side. - WonkeyDude98

WHY IS THIS ON THE WORST LIST!? Did someone literally misplace this song!?

Love this song, Love Twenty One pilots. FIGHT ME.

I really like this song actually

Garbage. Some of the worst, most uninspired lyrics I've ever heard. This song has so little inspiration behind it that it's possible to make a compelling argument that it doesn't actually exist.

Why is this on here? The first time I heard this song, the lyrics were so funny!

The lyrics make absolutely no sense. The song is lost in its own message. The hook is awful. The instrumental is bland as always. 0/5 - naFrovivuS

I loved it until the radio ruined it and all my friends were CONSTANTLY singing it. Now I realize how boring this song is.

Not that I've ever enjoyed their music, but just saying, they've released better. - naFrovivuS

This song isn't actually that bad. It's mediocre, but a little unoriginal.

It is overplayed. It is a good song though.

"Scream ukulele rap" my backdoor. - Swellow

On a scale of one to Twenty One Pilots, how hard do you try to be different?

Oh god this is TERRIBLE. TWenty One Pilots can't SING

Oh. My. Gosh. I HATE this song. It doesn't even make sense! It's overplayed and overrated.

I am a TwentyOnePilots fan but I hate this song. It has absolutely NO respect for the childfree society, claiming that EVERYONE would rather be a kid than an adult. Not true! Some people think young children are the worst kind of human in the world that doesn't belong in a jail or prison. I am amongst those childfree people. I also believe the rapping on this track is even worse than their other songs. If you want a good TOP song, listen to something from Vessel.

That comment was insanely stupid. Their talking about themselves! Not everybody else! You guys go to in depth with these things. - RalphBob

Sounds like a (bad) ripoff of Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Heroes.

As someone who deeply adores that song (even more than Stressed Out) I don't hear it. - WonkeyDude98

Don't you think it's going a little too far saying that Twenty One Pilots are destroying the meaning of hip hop? The genre sold out to mindless luxury rap over 10 years ago, so they're not digging that hole any deeper.

Hell, even by hip hop standards, I wouldn't call this song terrible. The flow is awkward, but the verses contain clever wordplay and the lyrics paint a compelling picture of depression and longing for the days when we didn't have to worry about everything. I'll admit the song is pretty clumsily written, and I'm not a huge fan of the song musically (though it does fit with the lyrics really well), but I don't think it's nearly as bad as some people are making it out to be. - Zach808

FIRST OF ALL, TØP is not hip hop. Although it isn't my favorite on the album, it is one of the best songs on the radio today. Everything else is about partying and other crap like that.

This song is amazing, to be honest. I won't yell at people for disagreeing and bring shame to the Clique. I know this was very overplayed (I'm saying was because it's not anymore, I'm writing this late 2016) but it was genius compared to the other awful songs that are up higher on the list. I just don't like that their songs on the radio are not at all what TØP is all about. I'd love if someone would check them out.

I apologize about this, as I know twenty one pilots are extremely well loved. I personally *ahem* despise this song. The man (I think), who raps sounds like Lil Wayne, only with worse lyrics.

I wish I could turn back time
To the good old days
When our mama sang us to sleep
But now we're stressed out

Please. The beat isn't very interesting. TOP in general is just trying too hard. I respect them for the almost unnoticeable auto tuning. It might have even improved the lead singer's (I, as no fangirl, don't know his name.) unbearable voice. All in all, the so-so lyrics, bad vocals and flow, mixed with though-provoking political statements may save it... If possible.
But all of Blurryface is a amazing 4/10. TOP just isn't very good. Their squeaky-clean child friendly rapping has (to quote Ice T) helped destroy the meaning of hip-hop and R&B as a construct.
They really are the One Direction of hip-hop. Thank you for your time.

This is the theme song of people I hate. Those "ironic-goths" who live in the Hot Topic parking lot, have seven tumblrs under the name xX_ILUVDINOZ_Xx and talk about struggle all time, despite being rich, white and spoiled.
