Patrick, in my own opinion, is possibly one of the funniest characters in cartoon history. He makes the entire SpongeBob series worth watching, no matter what age you are.

"Firmly Grasp it!" He's a better idiot when he's a stooge more than a jerk. I like how Patrick is more likable today than how he was when he wasn't a painfully stupid nuisance.

Yes! Patrick is the funniest cartoon idiot in all of history! He is so incredibly dumb and hilarious, always making me laugh at the goofy stuff he does.

  2. Homer Simpson - The Simpsons

"D'oh!" When he isn't a jerk, his stupidity can be charming like back then. Homer is still a moron icon to me.

He and Barney Gumble are both the funny idiots in The Simpsons.

  3. Ed - Ed, Edd And Eddy

Ed is one of the three main characters in the Canadian-American animated television series Ed, Edd n Eddy. He is the strongest and least intelligent member of the Eds. Ed is known for his simple-mindedness, immense strength, and love of comic books and monster movies.

And the award for the most lovable/funniest cartoon idiot goes to... Ed!

Cosmo is tied with Stimpy for the most lovable Nickelodeon idiot.

  8. Billy - The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

Billy is the best in the show, so don't you dare talk badly about the boy at all. In fact, I think that he is more famous than both Mandy and Grim put together.

Billy has moments of annoyance, but I just can't help but love him.

  9. Lindsay - Total Drama

Your local blond girl. Kindhearted, but she is incredibly stupid. The funniest character on the show by far.

She's not bright but is also very kind, just like Leni Loud.

  10. Owen - Total Drama

This idiot needs to be higher. Thinks you hammer a nail with a nail. But, because of him being an idiot, he's good at it, making him one of my favorite fictional characters of all time.

"Shut Up & Take My Money!" He can be a smart guy who uses his stupidity to his advantage.

  18. Johnny Bravo - Johnny Bravo

His lunkhead intelligence is so comical. He is the cartoonish and satirical representation of egotistical goofwads in real life.

His idiocy is the reason why Johnny Bravo is unique and popular.

Derpy Hooves is a female Pegasus character from the 2010s animated television show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. 24. Pinky - Pinky and the Brain

He's the harmlessly goofy assistant. His trope was mainly the kindhearted simpleton who jumbles Brain's plans up. (He could be the sane one from the duo, according to the theory from Albert Einstein about insane people's thinking).

  25. Stimpy - Ren and Stimpy

John K was a perfect enemy to society back in the day, but the logic of Smart Canine & Stupid Feline makes more sense than the cliche of smart cat & dumb dog because, realistically, cats are less smart than dogs. The dim-witted dogs were represented because of their "nature," which doesn't make that much sense since dogs actually do more stuff than cats do. So, this idea of Goofy Cat & Genius Dogs should be expressed way more than ever.

Ren is a psycho canine version of Moe, and Stimpy is Curly from the Three Stooges.

Stimpy is tied with Cosmo for most lovable Nickelodeon idiot.
