South Park
South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. The show is about four boys, who are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and their adventures in South Park, Colorado. I give South Park the edge over Family Guy only because their constant social commentary spares no one, especially since they love to take on celebrities and religion with unabashed bravado. Although there was absolutely nothing subtle about the infamous Tom Cruise episode, if they really want to complete the social commentary, they need to focus on themselves in a hypercritical manner.
South Park is amazing. Eric Cartman is the most evil character out there, and he creates constant humor. It makes you laugh out loud almost every episode, while people don't laugh at Family Guy at all. I mean, The Simpsons at number one I understand, but Family Guy? Really, come on, people!
Family Guy
Family Guy is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter (Fat, Idiotic Dad) and Lois (Nagging Bitchy Wife), their children Meg (Socially Awkward Daughter) Chris (Fat, Idiotic... read more I LOVE this show! They have some of the funniest jokes ever, well-made scenes, and the Easter eggs and references make me love it even more. South Park is great too, but I love Family Guy more.
I'd say if you're talking all-time funniest show, I'd give it to The Simpsons. Nothing beats those early seasons. But for the current funniest show, hands down, it's Family Guy. Just three words: "Outstanding Comedy Series."
Every breath in that show is a joke. Sometimes I pause it because I need time to laugh.
The Simpsons
The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening that originally started on April 19, 1987 as shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show. It got its own series on December 17, 1989 and is still running as of 2023, making it the longest running animated sitcom. It is about a man named Homer... read more Are you kidding? #4? This show is the most hilarious, innovative, satirical, and groundbreaking animated TV series of all time, and a cheap imitation (Family Guy) beats it? People just don't seem to get that before this, the only animation - bar a few shows such as Top Cat and Wait Till Your Father Gets Home - was aimed entirely at children. This show opened new levels that Family Guy will never reach.
What's Adventure Time? And where are Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill? This list is inaccurate in terms of success.
Archer
A generous and loving God gave us this masterpiece of satire. I don't just love it. I want to get it drunk and marry it.
How is this under The Cleveland Show? This show is one of the best things that ever happened to television.
Futurama
Futurama is an American animated science fiction sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. Come on, guys. Family Guy? Are you mad? Futurama beats any other show I've ever seen. The jokes are fast and furious. The plotlines are consistent and creative. The characters are very well done, the animation is great, and it's the most original thing on TV. Family Guy is crap! Everything takes place in a cutaway scene, and all the jokes are raunchy pop culture references! The humor is dumb, and the characters are a dime a dozen. Long live Futurama!
I know that at first people thought this was going to be like The Simpsons for one reason or another, but it's obviously completely different. The Simpsons was mostly humor, but Futurama is hilarious and other things.
The Amazing World of Gumball
The Amazing World of Gumball is a British-Australian-German-American-Irish children's animated television series created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network. I think I may like this show a teensy bit too much.

It's not a ripoff of anything, it's hilarious, and there are no obnoxious cutaway gags interrupting the episode every ten seconds. Family Guy is okay, but very overrated.
Way better than Family Guy. Family Guy tries way too hard, while American Dad just stays funny. It doesn't try weakly but also doesn't try too hard. An episode of American Dad makes me laugh more times than a season of Family Guy.
This show doesn't need cutaways to be funny, and there is a lot less shock humor than Family Guy has. Good characters and good writing.
The Cleveland Show
The Cleveland Show is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Richard Appel, and Mike Henry for the Fox Broadcasting Company as a spin-off of Family Guy. This is just the best show ever. Even though it is almost the same thing as Family Guy, I think it has more humor involved. Also, The Cleveland Show is based on real situations.

I think that it has the reputation of being a kids' show because it was on the Disney Channel, but it really is mature and well-written.

Rick and Morty
Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Adult Swim. It's the greatest animated comedy of all time.
