The Contenders: Page 4

61 I Set My Friends on Fire I Set My Friends on Fire I Set My Friends on Fire is a post-hardcore group from Miami, Florida. The band was formed in 2007 by Matt Mehana and former member Nabil Moo.

ISMFOF has one of the amazing screamos I've ever heard.
There songs are hilarious in a good way and awesome.

Try listening there songs like Ravenous Ravenous Rhino and Things that Rhymes in Orange and also that Crank that Soulja Boy screamo cover.
Man their awesome!

62 Dance Gavin Dance

They aren't even close to death core.

63 Slaughter to Prevail

In my opinion, Alex has vocals that would make even Dan Watson sound like a coward. It's just pure brutality with him

In 2017, the deathcore genre is deteriorating. Slaughter To Prevail may have saved it. Pure.. Brutality.

Alex has the voice of a demon don't know how slaughter to prevail isn't in the top 25!

Alex Shikolai has the meanest deathcore vocals of all bands. The band is one of the most brutal deathcore bands out there.

64 War From a Harlots Mouth

65 Kill Robot Kill
66 Ion Dissonance
67 Silverstein

This is an awesome band, not deathcore though. But still everyone should check this band out!

69 Eat A Helicopter

Brutal and interesting band, I'm a huge fan of these guys.

70 Fit for an Autopsy

Such a great band. Should be higher on the list. If anyone listened to the albums Absolute Hope, Absolute Hell and The Process of Extermination would understand. Hellbound isn't that great though.

Seriously, 69? What the hell... these guys are still one of only three or four "deathcore" bands I religiously listen to (the others being Thy Art is Murder and Make Them Suffer, and Wage War if you can count them) because every other band on here sounds exactly the same. These are one of the only truly original bands in this genre...

The Process of Human Extermination is a great album. This band should be in a better spot on this list considering that half of these bands aren't even deathcore.

FFAA should be on number 1. These guys deserve so much more than just 68... I think you can compare them with the older SuSi album You can't stop me now...

75 Point Below Zero

Fairly unknown band, only have an EP out, but still are excellent.

These guys are extremely amazing and talented. These need to get known!

The EP they put out is insane. No drugs for jake has one of the most amazing breakdowns I have ever heard

76 Within the Ruins

Awesome band and EXCELLENT albums, but I would mostly consider this band Progressive Metalcore than deathcore. Their first two albums were pretty deathcore though but if you listen to Beautiful Agony and Feeding Frenzy, they are actually metalcore.

Love all there albums

Not deathcore, heavy metalcore

Listen to elite and phenomina, enough said

77 The Red Shore
78 Acrania

Luke Griffen is by far one of the best deathcore vocalist of the last few years ACRANIA ALL THE WAY!

They're so good, I've never heard anyone scream like the song Disilusion in a Disordinant System.

79 A Different Breed of Killer
80 Blind Witness

Now I'll be honest, I'm a death and thrash metal guy, and for the most part, I hate deathcore (not an elitist, just don't particularly this genre or metalcore) but this band and he song "All Alone" are great. It's kinda weird considering I don't really like the guitars in deathcore, but that song is just different in a way that I can't really describe.

I think Blind Witness is actually awesome. I know their under the radar but gutar working is spot on as well as the breakdowns
