121 The Agonist The Agonist The Agonist is a Canadian extreme metal band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 2004. The current line up consists of guitarists Danny Marino and Pascal Jobin, bassist Chris Kells, drummer Simon Mckay, and vocalist Vicky Psarakis, who joined in March 2014 following the departure of vocalist and founding more.

One of the best deathcore bands, I just don't know why are they so low here. Excellent music, excellent ghrowls and cleans. I reccomend listening to Panaphobia and Thank You Pain. This band deserves higher position, at least in top 10.

122 Ovid's Withering

Symphonic Blackened Progressive Deathcore for the win!

123 Existence Has Failed

They're by far a lot heavier than all the bands on this list, so I don't know why they aren't

This band is not deathcore

This band is best in emotional lyrics

this band awesome! this band greatest deathcore ever

125 Asking Alexandria Asking Alexandria Asking Alexandria are an English metalcore band from York, North Yorkshire formed initially in 2008 by lead guitarist Ben Bruce along with former lead singer Danny Worsnop, bassist Joe Lancaster, keyboardist and synth player Ryan Binns, and current members drummer James Cassells and rhythm guitarist more.

Someone should remind the scene kids that these guys are no where near deathcore

Sorry kids but this isn't death core...

Nowhere near death core, homie. Try again.

126 Bullet For My Valentine Bullet For My Valentine Bullet for My Valentine are a Welsh metalcore band from Bridgend, formed in 1998 . The band is composed of Matthew Tuck (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar, backing vocals), Michael Thomas (drums) and Jamie Mathias (bass guitar). Former members include Nick Crandle and Jason James; more.

I Like them A lot but they are in no way death metal.. They are a great metalcore band though

I'm voting this up simply so that more people can see that someone in the world considers Bullet to be deathcore... I love Bullet! They're great! But they sure as hell aren't deathcore. - Ethansics

The best deathcore death metal band ever...

127 Trivium Trivium Trivium are an American heavy metal band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1999. After getting signed to Roadrunner Records in 2004, the band has released seven studio albums and nineteen singles.

These guys are metalcore, not deathcore.

128 Horsemen of the Apocalypse
129 As They Looked to the Sky

unknown band, under appreciated - bobslapnuts

130 I Built The Cross

135 Emmure Emmure Emmure is an American metalcore band formed in 2003. Originally based in New Fairfield, Connecticut, but now residing in Queens, New York, the group has a total of seven releases, with their first public release being a 2006 EP entitled The Complete Guide to Needlework.

Emmure... You can feel this dudes hate flow freely throughout a twisted depressively homicidal ambience this bands got going on... Plus these guys have real skill working with each other... I'm surprised these beasts aren't in the top ten

Definitely should be up in at least top 5.. I like bands like I killed the prom queen.. But deathcore.. List is a fraud...

These guys should be one of the top ten

Should be much higher. Much better than Atilla.

136 Attila Attila Attila is an American metalcore band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 2005. Frontman Chris Fronzak started the band in high school and, not wanting to use typical death metal terms, adopted the name from Attila the Hun, which he came across in a book.

They aren't even deathcore... Plus they suck

I'd think this band was better if they wrote some good lyrics and if Fronz would cease his rapping. He does death growls that are pretty good only to have them ruined by that garbage rapping.

If Nu Deathcore was a thing. Attila is it. They mix some great Deathcore and Nu metal

I don't see how Atilla is not within the top 25 on this list Too many bands in the top 15 that are not even in the deathcore genre (bring me the horizon, bullet 4 my valentine) that are soft as f***. Atilla has some wickedly heavy songs.

137 The Black Dahlia Murder The Black Dahlia Murder The Black Dahlia Murder is an American melodic death metal band from Waterford, Michigan, formed in 2001. Their name is derived from the 1947 unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short, often referred to as Black Dahlia.

What's up with this list? I love BDM, but they're melodic death metal. And in what world are Alesana, Asking Alexandria, and Trivium considered deathcore?
Alesana is post hardcore for god's sake

For gods sake TBDM is NOT deathcore. They have none of the deathcore characteristics (no breakdowns, no pig squeals, etc.), they are melodic death metal. But still better and more versatile than any other band here.

They are not deathcore, they are melodic death metal.

This guys is the best of all
