The Contenders: Page 2

21 Transamerica

I love the movie make me laugh and cry is just a good movie I can get tired of this trip of founding yourself amazing the fact that this happen in reality wow

Has to be one of the best movies I've seen because it's one of those films I can watch over and over again! Huffman and Zegers are very blievable in their roles and it portrays USA (the nature and the people) in a very real yet fascinating way. Makes me wanna go on a roadtrip of my own!

22 Donnie Darko

Donnie Darko is one of the best cult classics of its time because well.. It was way before its time. The beauty of its meaning is ridiculing and interesting all the while giving you a familiar setting. There isn't one second of that movie that had me disinterested. Great acting and best of all, amazing movie.

Time travel at best. Donnie Darko is my favorite movie of all time. It has a shocking ending and keeps you wanting more. It is a must see if you enjoy a creepy mind thrill. You wont be able to watch it just once. Trust me.

One of the greatest movies I've ever seen. You go through the movie believing that Donnie is crazy and in the end everyone else is in the wrong. Must see.

How is Donnie Darko not in the top 10's?

23 Cannibal Holocaust

"This one is for the gore fans." Grindhouse films have a unique feel to them and Cannibal Holocaust is no exception. A early example of a found footage film, this movie should not be ignored by any means. It really makes you question who is really civilised.

24 Happiness
25 Pink Flamingos
26 Stranger Than Paradise
27 Halloween
28 The Blair Witch Project

I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the experience after I watched this the first time (on Halloween night). I call it an "experience" because it was a new way of making a scary movie and it was done so well that I believed that it was real, like everyone else! This is the granddaddy of tons of movies like the Paranormal Activity series for instance.

29 Wristcutters - A Love Story

Seriously, one of my all time favorite movies! I love how unique it is. I love how they refer to suicide as offing themselves, and I love the slight hint of romance throughout the movie. Great ending, just when you think all hope is lost. Definitely one to see!

Such a wonderful movie. It made me feel so much and it's such a great story with great actors. One I'd would try to make everyone I know watch. I could watch it over and over again.

Did not like Wristcutters. A far superior film is 'The Troublesome Man' which covers much of the same territory in a much better way.

I've watched this movie multiple times. It holds up

So quirky, great soundtrack, interesting characters, and Bill Murray in one of his finest performances.

One of the best films, I've ever seen. And in my opinion Wes Andersons best one. Watch it!
