Best Movies Since 1980
I figured we could narrow down some of the real best movies of all time, starting with when movies started to get worth watching.
One of the best movies ever created.

Great acting, incredible music, and it doesn't take itself too seriously, so the ridiculousness is genius.
Great comedy, great action, great acting, great visuals. This movie has it all. Johnny Depp IS Captain Jack Sparrow.
I love everything in that movie. I died laughing!

This absolute masterpiece of a movie is always in my favorites. The incredible performances, the cinematography, the sound, the pure visual power this film has is just incredible.

The best trilogy ever given to man by God and J.R.R. Tolkien. Nothing else to say except simply amazing.
Simply the best trilogy, and this is the best movie.
The greatest series of movies ever created.

The best adaptation of a Stephen King novel yet. Plus, Morgan Freeman turns in a brilliant performance along with the rest of the cast.

That's The Power of Love!
Before he goes to 1955, the mall is called "Twin Pine Mall." When he's in 1955, he accidentally destroys a pine tree, and when he gets back to 1985, the mall is called "Lone Pine Mall."
Hilarious. A time travel masterpiece. The best film produced in the 1980s. A must-see. If you haven't seen this, you're missing out!
Honestly, one of the funniest things I've ever seen. The plot is extremely well written.

The Newcomers

Non-stop action and adventure from beginning to end.

This movie was highly unappreciated when it came out, and I think it's because a majority of the people had no idea what was going on. But those that have read the Iliad, or even know the storyline, generally liked the movie. The movie has awe-inspiring fight scenes and raw emotion. It is a very powerful movie.

I will start by saying I do not like Tom Cruise or Dakota Fanning, but this movie is a masterpiece. I was truly frightened while watching this movie, and they have done a great job making this very creative book an even more creative movie. Even if you don't like the movie, you should be able to appreciate the visual effects.
