Top Ten Best MCs Ever

The Top Ten

1 Nas Nas Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, better known by his stage name Nas, is an American rapper. His album, Illmatic, is considered to be one of the best rap albums of all time. He is also considered to be one of the best rappers of all time.

Nas is one of the illest rappers ever, if you listen to 'One Mic' you would know that Nas it's not just a song, it's an experience. Nas is, in my opinion, the reigning king of the East Coast

Illmatic tells us why! N.Y. state Of Mind, It Ain't Hard To tell, One Love, Halftime, Life's A Bitch etc.

He's the God Mc

2 Rakim Rakim

Done it all! Number 9 on the list. Didn't stop just let it all out every time he entered the booth. He brought in a sound that only could get better and it did, he showed us what it meant to stick with something we loved and never give up on a dream. Knowing that he entered in a time where it was difficult to compete he still put forth the effort and made a name for himself.

Long in the game still drops bombs
Nice flows and great with beats

He is the god mc no reason to be below #1

By far the best there has ever been, from the digital underground to death row Tupac changed the game forever! Every album that he put out had a meaning. Songs like Brenda's got a baby, changes, trapped, to hit em up, every song listed there descibed something different in the game. He could rap about anything, anyone and he would put it out there for them to hear it and didn't care.

He is one of the realest and greatest rappers ever - TripleA

2pac is the hottest guy around even though some believe he's not but I can listen to his music all day the song I listen to the most is Dear Mama

Doing it BIG for years, being able to change his mood over the years from personalitys like Slim Shady the guy who did not give a f#%$ about no one but himself to the person that had a soft side and able to put it all out on the line to make videos with his daughter in it, which by the way was never been seen before.

You are my favorite pop singer. I like the way you shake your little brother. Do your best. I will be the happiest person to see your next album.

His unique style, voice, flow and talent for lyrics earns him a spot on my list

The best by far, no one is even close

5 Biggie Smalls / The Notorious B.I.G.

I love it when you call me big papa! Bad boy for life... There is no Puff without Biggie and no bad boy without him. He was one of the best in his time and nobody can take that away from him. It was a tragedy when we lost him, we definitely lost a great.

The fact that John Cena is ranked higher than Guru on this list should tell you everything you need to know.

Rockafella Records is still going strong, signing artists like Kanye West, and going from once that was a label that bounced up and down to finally starting a firm cast of all-stars to help carry this label to into super stardum, and behind all this is the jigga himself Jay Z! He started it all there not letting his crowd down selling out with crazed fans waiting to hear songs like Hard Knock Lfe, 99 Problems, Dirt off Your Shoulder, and Excuse Me Miss! He is the catalyst that brought us into what we have listened to since the millenium.

One of the most underrated rappers of all time, he isn't the best, probably around #8-10. He has a nice clean style that makes him unique, plus listen to songs like Just The Two Of Us (which Eminem copied [kinda copied... Arguable that Eminem wrote his earlier but it was released 6 months later so, ya] when he made Bonny And Clyde '97). I'm just saying, fresh prince (like button).

In my opinion the best and after him are Ra and Nas
You can feel all the emotion in his songs and you know he puts his heart and soul in to his music
Listen to Right or wrong, I can feel it, The rain and tell me that DMX isn't the realest to do it, and I can bet my life on it that he would murder anyone who would dare to beef with him ( Listen to Get at me dog )...The G.O.A.T DMX!

Definitely the best that has come out of the underground, though he has not done as much as 2pac, but he is still going, and not done with it. He has turned the industry upside down and don't want to turn it back over! Starting from nothing and not settling to join a major record label, tech started his own label Strange Music, and made his name known and being the #1 independent rapper alive. Now collabing with names like Twista, Ice Cube, Scarface, and Lil Wayne he definitely put it out there that he is not stopping anytime soon!

Better than anybody on this entire list Eminem is an absolute joke as far as being the second best MC of all time... Tech 4 Life!

The absolute, without question, most talented rapper in the world. 6688846993. Just listen. He is on par if not better than Eminem and Tupac. Yeah I said it. I swear if I hear another song about Tupac I'm going to go to my nearest FYE and go on a shooting spree

For what he has accomplished in his time, from being just a mid to going straight to the top and staying there. Forming a powerhouse in YMCMB, and making his label the best out there today. He is definitely one of a kind, there will be no one like him ever again, the closest might be Drake, but that young kid has still a lot to learn.

First of all, Lil Wayne isn't an M.C. However, even if you don't like his music or him in general, you have to give him credit for his insane accomplishments. If Lil Wayne never rose to fame, we wouldn't have Drake, DJ Khaled, Tyga, Nikki Minaj, or any of the other Cash Money Records rappers. Aside from all the artists Lil Wayne has helped get fame, he was putting out some decent music, including the Carter 2, 3, and 4. When you compare him to some of the awful artists in the game right now, he's certainly not that bad. For the most part, the Carter 2 and 3 are better than anything Future, Lil Uzi Vert, or Lil Yachty has put out. Give the man some respect. Also, he invented the greatest party drug ever: LEEEAN.

31 Mos Def Mos Def Yasiin Bey, best known by his stage name Mos Def, is an American hip hop recording artist, actor and activist from Brooklyn, New York City, New York.
32 K-Rino K-Rino
33 Eazy E

Before he passed he did so much for the game, got it off the ground, steered it in the right direction and let it form in to what we are starting to see again through other eyes like Eminem, Lil Wayne, Tech N9ne, but of course in their own way and starting their own genres in a sense. Easy E will forever be remembered as the one who teamed up with icons like Pac, Biggy, Bone thugz, and started a movement with NWA that turned peoples heads!

34 Dr Dre

NWA, Death Row Records, Aftermath, explains every bit of it. He has been an important part of the industry for quite some time. You don't hear a whole lot from him anymore, but the impact that he has on every mc's life is the most important. He teamed up Tupac, Easy E, and Eminem 3 of my top 4 in the countdown. He put every one of them in the spotlight.
