So underrated band, almost unknown but the greatest, there is no doubt, listen to it

When I am asked about my favourite music and I want to tell an example from nowdays then they come to my mind at the first place.

146 Starset
147 Gryphon

They explored new musical territory fusing medieval music and rock. Incorporating diverse instrumentation such as recorders, crumhorms, bassoon and mandolin they sounded like no-one else. Richard Harvey and Brian Gulland are brilliant multi-intrumentalists, Graeme Taylor, like Steve Howe, a versatile guitarist in many styles. David Oberle great on a drum-kit or various percussion and vocals. Later members of comparable ability. Pity they only lasted for 5 albums

155 Redemption

Maybe not the most obvious choice for a prog list. But with Dream Theater in the top 10, there should at least be a mention of this awesome band!

156 Curved Air

The greatest prog band ever, still playing after 45 years with original members lead singer Sonja Kristina and drummer Florian Pilkington-Miksa. The first 3 albums from the early 70s were masterpieces, check out Air Conditioning, Curved Air 2nd Album and Phantasmagoria for spellbinding arrangements and musicianship from Francis Monkman and Daryl Way.

157 Ekseption
