Best Bosses from Dark Souls 2

Dark Souls 2 has a lot of different bosses, over 40 in fact. Some are good, others are terrible, I'm focuing on the good ones right now.
The Top Ten
1 Fume Knight

Despite my beliefs on him being much easier than everybody gives him credit for, I still believe this boss to be one of the best parts of Dark Souls 2. His 2 phases are both extremely distinctive and will make you have to change your strategy quickly. He also looks extremely cool.

This is best hardest boss ever with best weapon

2 Burnt Ivory King

The scope of this battle is why it is so great as you are fighting in a war, your soldiers against the enemy. The once the battle with the king commences, it is terrifying as you have used up many of your supplies. The boss is very fun and looks really intimidating as he makes his sword glow.

I love learning about about wars and this fight basically is a war! These are my reasons this is my favorite fight. 1: It's based of a war. 2: Great boss design. 3: I love the lore 4: The music theme is great!

3 Sir Alonne

While Fume Knight is an endurance test, Sir Alonne is definitely a mechanical boss fight. It's very difficult to get away from this guy, making it essential to keep on your toes the entire fight. This fight is such an adrenaline rush, and you won't stop getting it until the fight is over and you have triumphed.

4 Darklurker

For such a cool boss, it's a pain to get to it, with having to complete everything to do with the dark diver covenant. The boss itself has a wide range of attacks that are quite challenging to dodge, especially in phase 2 where it splits in half. The only reason that this boss isn't at the top spot is because of the boredom of getting to it.

5 Blue Smelter Demon

At first glance, I was extremely annoyed to see a re-skinned Smelter Demon after one of the worst areas in the game. However, I grew to love this fight once I noticed that he delays on the attacks are now random, causing you to always have to act on reflex rather than memorization, creating one of the toughest, but most interesting bosses in the series.

6 Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon

Despite the fact that the souls series has had so many dragon fights, only 3 of them have been decent, one from each game. Sinh, while not being anywhere near as challenging as most of the other dragons, is my pick for best looking. It is such a cool moment when he flies up in the air and shoots giant toxic fireballs at you.

7 Looking Glass Knight

This boss has the greatest arena in this game (possibly the series) by a wide margin. The rain combined with the lightning make for an epic experience. I would rate him higher if the online component of the fight worked better, but even so, this boss captures everything great about a good boss fight. As a side note, the lightning blade is charged by actual lightning, so that's cool.

8 Smelter Demon

I like the Smelter Demon for the simple reason that it was made to screw over people who hold up their shield and circle strafe. The flaming aura stops people from getting close to it, promoting aggression, and the flaming sword will stop people from being able to block. I also think that his design is cool.

9 The Rotten

I always have felt that this boss is quite underrated, sure it isn't the most intense or demanding fight, but as well as it looking awesome, the rotten has that cool mechanic where you can chop off his hands. He had to make it on the list for the sole reason of how funny he is when you cut off both his hands and he flails about uselessly.

10 Aava, The King's Pet

The main reason that this boss interests me is the fact that dodge direction is vital. In most fights, if an enemy attacks, you dodge and it's good. In this fight, if you dodge the wrong way, you will get clipped by the claws.
