His drumming was renowned for its technical proficiency, and his live performances for their exacting nature and stamina.

9 Terry Fox Terrance Stanley "Terry" Fox was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist. In 1980, with one leg having been amputated, he embarked on an east to west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

Formula One fans know this name. Gilles Villeneuve spent six years in Grand Prix racing with Ferrari, winning six races and widespread acclaim for his performances.
Gilles Villeneuve died at 32, in a 140 mph (225 km/h) crash caused by a collision during qualifying for the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix.
F1 fans also know The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, named after him, of course.
His son, Jacques Villeneuve, won the 1997 Formula One World Championship.
