Ed (Ed, Edd n Eddy)
Ed is one of the three protagonists in the Canadian-American animated comedy television series Ed, Edd n Eddy. He is the strongest and the least intelligent member of the Eds. Ed will forever be the funniest Cartoon Network character ever conceived. With classic one-liners such as "I am a woodpecker! Except with dirt" and "We're going on a bus! We're going on a bus!", no one can hate this guy.
In a perfect world, Ed would be in all cartoon shows.
Ed is my all-time favorite cartoon network character. He deserves to be number one!

Dee Dee (Dexter's Laboratory)
Chowder (Chowder)
Chowder is the funniest in the whole series, and that makes him number one. Ed is not that funny, and Chowder is extremely hilarious.

Rigby is a character from the cartoon Regular Show created by JG Quintel. He's best friends with Mordecai (A talking Blue Jay). Together they slack around and have fun in the park. A place where they work and have the risk of being fired from. Yeah, sure, he's an idiot and a jerk, but William Salyers' energy and timing as Rigby make him probably the funniest Cartoon Network character ever.
He is very funny, and his heart is usually in the right place. Usually.
Mordecai (Regular Show)
Mordecai is one of the two main protagonists of Regular Show, along with his best friend Rigby. Cheese (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends)
Cheese is, without a doubt, the most random and nonsensical character ever. Oh, by the way, he's flipping hilarious. This little guy can still make me laugh my ass off. I mean, how can you keep a straight face when he says, "frinkle, frinkle, little bar, what I wonder is a cat," with that stupid voice of his and that mouth animation?
Oh, wait, what's that? Gumball, Mordecai, and Hank Hill (Adult Swim, not CN) are more popular than Cheese? Are you kidding me?
