Top 10 Fictional Characters that Most-Hilariously Are the Most Pathetic Ones in Generally Pathetic Groups of Characters
To put it mildly, the fact that this guy somehow manages to be even more of a pathetic joke than the lives that Jessie and Meowth have been forced to endure, having in their backstories, is hilariously impressive. Basically:
Meowth got completely thrown away by his own parents, got beaten and abused quite nearly to death by an incredibly large number of the people that he met, and was so poor that he ended up having to steal basically all of "his" food in order to survive.
While all of those things were happening to him, he got basically no proper education other than the self-teaching that he did in order to teach himself how to walk and talk like humans. Then, he showed his new ability to do so to the immensely ungrateful Meowzie, who is so vain that she downright sadistically insulted and rejected him for the fact that he had caused himself to look less similar to her by causing himself to become more human-like.
Due to the fact that Meowzie's jaw-droppingly abusive treatment of him had caused him to catch the total disease that her greediness was, Meowth then decided to join Team Rocket just to finally become rich enough to be able to impress her. As for Jessie, let's just say that she lost her mother while still being a little kid in the process and then ended up having to eat snow due to the fact that the foster home that she had gotten sent to contained a completely pathetically small amount of food and money.
James, on the other hand, "grew up" in an absurdly luxurious mansion and often is both significantly less intelligent and significantly more prone to screaming, crying, whining, and wearing utterly ridiculous-looking costumes when compared to Jessie and Meowth due to the fact that he did so.
"I don't think that I am tough enough to be a woman!" - James
"Yeah..." - Meowth.
Emo Dandy: Just imagine how much my life sucks. I'm stuck with sidekicks who are a scary-looking guy that I can't understand the native language of and a sickly old codger who wears a pink unitard and pretends that he is a robot. I WANNA DIE.
QT: If this guy wants to die, then why is he drinking nutritional drinks? That's kind of hypocritical if you ask me.
SpongeBob has so much talent that he would probably become the greatest artist on his show if he decided to put actual effort into his life instead of just being a fry cook.
Patrick is... well, Patrick.
Sandy wastes nearly all of her talent on studying incredibly useless subjects and has an ego so big that she has nearly drowned herself just to stroke it.
Mr. Krabs is a fat and grumpy jerk whose sole purpose in life is collecting money.
Plankton has the natural ability to sneak into the brains of other characters and take control of their bodies due to his small size, but he is so incompetent that he makes this ability almost completely useless.
Squidward has a hilariously small amount of actual talent and is generally a "middle-class" person who isn't famous at all, despite constantly acting like an amazingly rich and talented celebrity.
In summary, Squidward is the only one of these characters who completely lies about who he is. He also exhibits suicidal tendencies and is generally seen as a total joke.
He might not be the weakest one of them as a boss, but he definitely is the most cowardly one of them as a character.
His main superpower is "super crying," and Vine Rizon even tells him that he is lonely, sad, and worthless. Also, the quest that he goes on in MMM is a completely pointless one from which he gets nothing.
Despite how much of a terrifying monster he is in Third Strike's storyline, its gameplay's version of him is a total punching bag whose fighting style is an even more total mess that almost causes Dan Hibiki's fighting style to look like an amazing one.
He's literally the laughing stock among the Kids Next Door villains.
