Top Ten Covers of Beatles Songs that Were Actually Performed Better Than the Original

I like the Beatles! I do! But to be honest, these artists who covered their songs breathed a new life into them. The Beatles should thank them for it. Be honest, if you think a band or artist made a better job of a Beatles song than the Beatles did, feel free to add. :).
The Top Ten
1 While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Jeff Healey Band

I'm "being honest", none of these are better than the originals, except that I will concede Joe Cocker is better on the number sung by RINGO. Even though Frank Sinatra is quite possibly the greatest male solo singer of all time, his rendition of Something "honestly" sucks.

2 Hey Jude - Wilson Pickett

Yes. Duane Allman's guitar playing gives it the slight edge on which is better. I would even go as far to say that Pickett does a better job on the vocals than McCartney.

3 With A Little Help From My Friends - Joe Cocker

Can't believe this isn't #1 in a landslide. My favourite song, my favourite version.

Yep. This is way too good to be number seven.

4 Come Together - Ike & Tina Turner
5 Yesterday - Matt Monro
6 In My Life - Johnny Cash
7 Got to Get You Into My Life - Earth, Wind & Fire
8 Paperback Writer - 10cc
9 I Want You (She's So Heavy) - Coroner

This is a much heavier version of this songs it will blow your mind at how well this is done it destroys the original

10 Something - Frank Sinatra
The Contenders
11 If I Fell - The Mona Lisa Twins

Beautiful 20-something twins became YouTube stars with their many Beatle covers, and their fame spread to the point where they became the "House Band" at the Cavern Club for several years.

12 You Can't Do That - Harry Nilsson

Much as I like some of Harry's work, the Beatles' version is gritty, driving rock, and, in my opinion, far superior.

13 Come Together - Gary Clark Jr.
14 If I Fell - Evan Rachel Wood
15 Dear Prudence - Siouxsie & The Banshees
