Be honest, if you think a band or artist made a better job of a Beatles song than the Beatles did, feel free to add. :).I'm "being honest", none of these are better than the originals, except that I will concede Joe Cocker is better on the number sung by RINGO. Even though Frank Sinatra is quite possibly the greatest male solo singer of all time, his rendition of Something "honestly" sucks.
Yes. Duane Allman's guitar playing gives it the slight edge on which is better. I would even go as far to say that Pickett does a better job on the vocals than McCartney.

Much as I like some of Harry's work, the Beatles' version is gritty, driving rock, and, in my opinion, far superior.
