Top 10 Best Disney DadsFor Father's Day, here's a Top 10 Best Disney Dads list.
Mufasa is definitely an amazing father to Simba. He tells him that one day he is going to be king. He wants his son to follow in his footsteps. Which he eventually does. Mufasa really cares about his son. He was worried for him when he and Nala went to the elephant graveyard. Afterwards, he was pretty mad. But that's because he didn't want him to get hurt. He later forgives him. He also saved Simba from the stampede. And then he dies. But at least he died knowing that his son was safe. Luckily, Simba still keeps in contact with his father via the sky. There's a lot of crazy things in the sky. At one point, we see the word "sex" in the sky. Mufasa really wanted his son to be like him, and he eventually got what he wanted.
He’s so good after all the love he shows at his evil brother is nothing sweeter than having a brother! That’s all he wanted was to love his brother they did everything together until He died! But he still loves his brother even though he did some wrong things
In 2019-He’s my brother Z that will never change
Back in 1994-What am I going to do with him?
Goofy is a very hilarious and caring father! He is shown to care about his son, Max. Even though Max is embarrassed by him, Goofy still tries to be the best father ever. In A Goofy Movie, Goofy wants to spend more time with Max. So they go on a road trip to go fishing. Max, however, wanted to go to a concert. After having a little father son disagreement, they end up going to the Powerline concert. And both of them were happy because they still got to spend time with each other. Even though Goofy makes a fool of himself a lot, Max still finds his antics to be funny. In Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, he convinces Max that Santa is real. Of course as a father he doesn't want to hurt his son's feelings by telling him that he wasn't real. It's shown that they really enjoy celebrating Christmas together. Goofy loves to make his son happy. And that's what makes him such a great father.
I would want Goofy as my dad! Goofy is one of those characters where you just can't go bad. He genuinely cares for his son, and doesn't do anything stupid like others on this list :Cough cough: Fergus :cough:.
He's a single father and puts everything into being a good father. Even though Max doesn't appreciate what he does a lot of the time, being a teenager and all. He doesn't care and loves him unconditionally all the same.
He may be single/widowed/divorced, but he takes great care of Max Goof, which is a true parody of the average teenager.
The Incredibles is the best Pixar movie ever! That shouldn't even be an opinion. That should be a fact. And Bob Parr aka Mr. Incredible is such an awesome dad! He is strong, he is hard working, and he cares about his family. He does a bunch of superhero stuff but still has time to take care of the children and be with his wife. And when the entire family starts fighting crime together, he helps the others and they help too. He's very protective of his family. He's a great father and a great superhero. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't like this guy. He does a lot of stuff. But he still has time for all of that stuff.
An inspiration to fat dads the world over!
Fergus is both an awesome king and an excellent father! He's very tough and pretty much taught Merida everything she knows. Such as archery and sword fighting. He lost his leg after facing a bear. But that just shows how brave he is. I really like how protective of his daughter he is. He wanted to protect Merida from a bear, who turned out to be his wife, so he locked his own daughter in her room. This was a smart move. Considering he didn't know at the time that the bear was his wife. But he still didn't want to take any chances. This is guy is just awesome! He is brave, heroic, and caring!
At the beginning of Finding Nemo, Marlin and his wife Coral had millions of kids. But they all got killed. Along with Coral. But the only one who stayed alive was Nemo. So after that traumatic event, he is bound to protect his son no matter what. He can be a little overprotective, but it's because he cares about his son a lot. He doesn't want anything to happen to him. And when Nemo got taken away, he traveled across the ocean to find him. This shows how much he cares. A problem I have with the movie is that the message is Marlin shouldn't be such a controlling father. But the fact that Nemo got stolen shows that he was right. I never understood that. Are we really supposed to be on Nemo's side here? Marlin had every right to be overprotective. And that's what makes him a great father.
I think Marlin is the best Disney father in any Disney or Pixar movie. He lost his whole family except Nemo, so he protects him so he won't lose him, too. He goes across the entire ocean to find his son and has to learn to let Nemo be independent while still caring about his safety. The complex emotional journey he goes through really is what makes this a damn good film.
Marlin should be number one. He loves his son so much to the point where he's willing to travel across the entire ocean in order to locate him. He has faults, but no parent is ever perfect. In terms of how much he loves his kid, Marlin is one of the greatest movie fathers ever.
Marlin crossed the whole ocean and faced sharks, jellyfish, an anglerfish and hungry birds to save Nemo.
I wish I had a dad like this. Just like his daughter, Mulan, he wants to protect his family. He was going to fight in war. But that's basically because he had to. What tells us that he cares about his family was the fact that Mulan was willing to fight in war in his place since he wasn't in good shape to do it himself. Even though Mulan's dad isn't in the movie very long, we can still see that he is a great father.
I nearly cried when Mulan came home with gifts from the Emperor, but then he put them on the ground and said:
"The biggest gift of all is having you for a daughter."

He's one badass dad
Believe it or not, I prefer the 2017 version of Maurice more than the 1991 version. I liked him in the original movie, but he is just written a lot better here. Casting Kevin Kline as Maurice was genius! Which is great since most of the other people in the movie were miscast. Especially Emma Watson as Belle. Maurice acts like more of a father in the live action movie. He really acts like he cares about Belle. Too bad Belle doesn't act like she cares about her father. That's because Emma Watson can't act to save her life. I also love how Maurice straight up tells Gaston that he's never going to marry his daughter. In the 1991 version, they made him a little too crazy. No wonder people wouldn't take him seriously. But here, he is perfect. He's the only thing that kept me from giving this movie a 5/10 in my review.
People might disagree with me on this, but King Triton is one of my favorite characters in this movie. That's because he has good sense. He didn't want his stupid daughter to go to the surface because he doesn't trust humans. And this makes sense because the human world can be a pretty dangerous place. At least in the ocean, they don't have a racist president. Triton just wants to protect his daughter. His daughter is a teenage girl and teenage girls are hard to take care of. The only thing keeping Triton from being any higher on the list is that he let Ariel keep her legs even after putting everyone's life in danger! That's one of the worst endings of any movie ever. Still, Triton is shown to love his daughter a lot. Even though she is a terrible spoiled brat. I hate Ariel!
I haven't watched Pinocchio in a long time, but I think Geppetto is a very great father. He literally made a son who was later brought to life by the Blue Fairy. And the way Geppetto treats his son is the same way a regular father would treat a normal son. Again, I haven't seen this movie in years. So I can't go into further detail. But Geppetto is still an excellent father.
He's a really kind and great father
How is he not higher?
He is a funny and likable character.
Herc's mortal parents
He was neglected and disowned as a child, so he didn’t want it to happen to her daughter. It just shows how much of a great father he is
Even though the Thor movies are meh.
