Simba lost him at a young age, and Simba then blames himself. I feel like this makes it worse.

Nuka got trapped between logs. Simba escaped, and his feet pushed a log that killed Nuka.
The fact that she died after saving her daughter's life and then tried to recover her artifact made me cry.
