Great band, and still fun to listen to today. Just added them to my play list last week!
An underrated but good-fun band from the 1980s. It's also what helped Norman Cook's career - pennylagwaberurier
They are better than most out there
One of the best voices ever, much less in the 80'sV 1 Comment
Relax, two tribes, the power of love. 3 great number 1s. Relax one of the biggest selling singles ever, should be at number 1, not 133
Shame on you this greatest band ever take on 127 place...

Bros is definitely one of the most talented groups during the 80's. Their talent deserves mention given the song writing, singing and voice quality of the goss brothers.
I loved this band and I can not find any of there songs to this day.
Look them up on youtube, I just did and I was able to find them
Still sounds great live toady.
I love Marc almond, please come to West Country, loving yr new album especially the god one and I'm not religious! X
One of the greatest perfomers of the 8os! A dramatic theatrical voice, music for few
Fantastic trio, should have at least made the top 30.V 1 Comment
This is an amazing band. Even today their songs are extremely famous in the world. I loved 'The Actor' and 'Sleeping Child'. They bring back sweet memories for me!V 1 Comment
The sexiest voice of the eighties! And hey, I bet this is an American-based list? Europe fans would have this sort of up-side down sirs:-) I haven't even seen the Style Councils yet... Without doubt one of the greatest of the Eighties!V 2 Comments
How can this absolutely marvellous and amazing band be in this low position! 2 of the most exceptionally talented guys to ever walk this planet. And all I can say is what a great shame that we have lost the best voice ever, from the late Eric Woolfson. His voice is pure magic, and sends me every time I hear him!
When I see my favourite bands on rock bottom I realise how my taste for music must be so bad, unbelievable!
Still one of the best bands during the '80's... The brilliance of Parson's ideas and Production along with Eric Woolfson's lyrics and their incredible band of musicians made them one of the greatest bands ever! Turn of a Friendly Card and Eye in the Sky are two of the best Rock albums ever, and Ammonia Avenue was great... With Vulture Culture, Stereotomy and Gaudi still very good albums! The lyrics went very deep to heart of the Matrix that exists all around us... A very intelligent band!
First record I bought, age 15. Still have it.V 1 Comment
I'm glad the stone roses are on this list, even if they are down at 225. Their debut album released in 1989 is one of the best debit albums of my time in my opinion, and all the songs on it (besides Elizabeth my dear its not even a minute long) have the potential to be hits, and 'I Am the Resurrection' alone is a monster of a track. Add 'I Wanna Be Adored', 'Made of Stone', 'Waterfall' and 'She Bangs the Drums' and we have a great album. oh yeah, I'm from America too.
Still listen to this fantastic Manchester band. Fab music.
They should be a lot higher. I think that their debut is one of the best albums of all time! Great musicians, especially the bassist (Mani) and drummer (Reni).
Should have been no1 lexicon of love what a classic album still sounds great,
This ladies were awesome in the 80's and I am still listening to their music.
Loved these girls and still do today
Very catchy songs, should be much higher, still going strong, timeless songs.
