The sexiest voice of the eighties! And hey, I bet this is an American-based list? Europe fans would have this sort of up-side down sirs:-) I haven't even seen the Style Councils yet... Without doubt one of the greatest of the Eighties!

When I see my favourite bands on rock bottom I realise how my taste for music must be so bad, unbelievable!

First record I bought, age 15. Still have it.

Still one of the best bands during the '80's... The brilliance of Parson's ideas and Production along with Eric Woolfson's lyrics and their incredible band of musicians made them one of the greatest bands ever! Turn of a Friendly Card and Eye in the Sky are two of the best Rock albums ever, and Ammonia Avenue was great... With Vulture Culture, Stereotomy and Gaudi still very good albums! The lyrics went very deep to heart of the Matrix that exists all around us... A very intelligent band!

158 The Stone Roses

I'm glad the stone roses are on this list, even if they are down at 225. Their debut album released in 1989 is one of the best debit albums of my time in my opinion, and all the songs on it (besides Elizabeth my dear its not even a minute long) have the potential to be hits, and 'I Am the Resurrection' alone is a monster of a track. Add 'I Wanna Be Adored', 'Made of Stone', 'Waterfall' and 'She Bangs the Drums' and we have a great album. oh yeah, I'm from America too.

Still listen to this fantastic Manchester band. Fab music.

They should be a lot higher. I think that their debut is one of the best albums of all time! Great musicians, especially the bassist (Mani) and drummer (Reni).

159 Missing Persons

Tight musicality and great trail blazing for the likes of Gwen Stefani and Lady Ga-Ga!

Dale Bozzio is still delivering a great show in 2015...They are coming back!

Who could forget "Sex" and "Pleasure Victim"?

This is my favorite Secular Band11

160 ABC

Should have been no1 lexicon of love what a classic album still sounds great,
!
