Top 10 Characters in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

The Top Ten
1 Scorpius Malfoy

Do you know how angry I was that there were apparently rumors of Scorpius being Voldemort's son? Like, can the other writers actually read Harry Potter before they write this? Because it was the stupidest thing I've ever read in my life. I am literally so angry right now, and I've been angry since it came out. I was so excited and didn't get what I expected at all. I swear to God, this was the stupidest part of the play by far, and that's really saying something.

Scorpius is the moral compass of Cursed Child. Without him, it would not be nearly as good.

2 Albus Severus Potter
3 Delphi

I think it would have been better if she just thought she was Voldemort's daughter, but actually wasn't. But no, now I have the mental picture of Voldemort having sex!

I wish she hadn't been made into a villain. That would have been more interesting.

She worked very hard to bring her father back. She devoted her life to it.

4 Rose Granger-Weasley

You'll probably learn more about Cursed Child if you read The Journey. Luna Lovegood was nearly going to be in Cursed Child.

I really don't think Ron and Hermione would tolerate bullying and shunning from their own daughter. Just saying.

5 Hermione Granger

Um, duh! Hermione is awesome, but I don't really like Harry in Cursed Child. He just wasn't the same as normal.

6 Ron Weasley Ronald Bilius "Ron" Weasley is a fictional character in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. His first appearance was in the first book of the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as the best friend of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.
7 Harry Potter Harry James Potter is the title character of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The majority of the books' plot covers seven years in the life of the orphan Potter, who, on his eleventh birthday, learns he is a wizard.

Harry is not flawless. He was an adult in his 30s with a family and a high-level Ministry of Magic job. He didn't even need to go back to study for his N.E.W.T.s to get the job because he was a hero who defeated the most evil wizard of all time. But after that, he was a man with a job in the Ministry of Magic. He is not going to behave the same way as when he was a school student. He is not a terrible father. He is under stress with his job and stuff.

Well, let's hope no one writes a book on elderly Harry Potter. You wouldn't like it. He still wouldn't be like his school days.

8 Draco Malfoy Draco Lucius Malfoy is a character in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. He is a student in Harry Potter's year belonging in the Slytherin house.

He is a better father than Lucius. He's a brilliant father and would do anything for his son. He also understands Scorpius: "Scorpius is a follower, not a leader." He is a protective dad: "If anything happens to Scorpius..." He talks about his son a lot because he loves him: "When our son Scorpius was born, it was the best day of both our lives."

If they decide to rewrite this book, I hope they don't change Draco and Scorpius because they made the book better.

Draco deserves to be No. 1! Why is Draco all the way down here? Is this a joke? He is a kind, caring father. He is the reason Scorpius is the person he is today because Draco did not raise him the way Lucius raised him. And Draco's soulmate should not have died. There's no good reason behind it. I believe Draco is strong and a brilliant father. He deserves to be No. 1!

9 Ginny Weasley Ginny Weasley is a prominent character in the "Harry Potter" series by J.K. Rowling. She is the youngest child and only daughter of the Weasley family. Initially introduced as a shy girl with a crush on Harry Potter, Ginny develops into a strong, independent young woman. Skilled in magic and Quidditch,... read more

Ginny should not have married Harry. She should marry someone else. Harry didn't like her at first because she always made him feel uncomfortable by stalking him wherever he goes.

She is awesome and kind! I love her. She is the best. If you don't like her, you're crazy.

10 Albus Dumbledore Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is a fictional character in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.

He is kind and a great wizard. I love him.

The Contenders
11 Lily Luna Potter

I wish she was mentioned more. Unfortunately, she wasn't.

12 Voldemort Lord Voldemort is a fictional character and the central main antagonist in J. K. Rowling's series of Harry Potter novels. Voldemort first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which was released in 1997.

Don't be stupid. None of his sons were evil. They were tricked, and that's why they meddled with time and things changed.

13 Minerva McGonagall

It's Professor McGonagall. How are you, Professor?

Because she is fair and honest!

14 Cedric Diggory

Time was meddled with because Albus and Scorpius thought modern Time-Turners could bring back Cedric, and then an accidental evil Cedric occurred. The daughter of Voldemort tricked them. (Remember in book 6, Bellatrix said she would allow her child to become a Death Eater, hinting that she had a child. We know she fancied Voldemort, and her husband was a background character.)

15 James Potter
16 James Sirius Potter
17 Karl Jenkins

I wish Scorpius hadn't asked out Rose at the end of this book. I wish Rose and Karl had ended up together because they are both mean, and Scorpius is innocent.

18 Trolley Witch
19 Polly Chapman
20 Amos Diggory
21 Craig Bowker Jr.
22 Hugo Weasley

Should have had more screen time.

23 Yann Fredericks
