I couldn't agree more they have been doing it right for decades.
NIN is amazing! They have some softer songs like Hurt and Everyday is Exactly the Same which leads people that they aren't metal at all. From circle of dust to celdweller Klayton has always had something unique to offer in each one of his songs. Truly an underappreciated genius
Check a 90's project from mastermind of celldweller, the CIRCLE OF DUST
The one-man band whose music is a masterpiece. Klayton did a good job and effort he put into his latest work, and I love his tracks as well. Above all, nothing is wrong with Celldweller. He should be higher on the list.
If Celldweller doesn't go higher on this list, I will cry. He is extremely good, he has obvious composition and performing supertalents along with his bandmates.
Another pioneering Industrial Metal band here, they took influence from Industrial, Noise Rock, Ambient, and mixed it with Metal, particularly drawing influence from Black Sabbath. Their unique style has led people to categorize them as Experimental Metal. Godflesh also helped found Post-Metal. - ryanrimmel
