Best Instruments to Sing Along With

Singers sometimes sing with instruments, sometimes without instruments. When you are singing you've to focus on your singing. Additional instruments may distract your attention. But there are some legendary singers who played instruments when they were singing. Like John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, Bob Dylan etc.

So I've made this list that's about the best instruments to use when singing.
The Top Ten
1 Guitar

Cause lead guitar is very hard

2 Bass Guitar

Bass guitar is easy because it has only four strings, on the other hand its hard because the strings are thicker. but still you can only pluck one or two strings, and play few chords and focus on your vocals

I have uploaded an image of bass guitar with six strings, well its very rare to have bass guitar with six strings. I have just uploaded it cause it looks good

3 Keyboards

I have seen expert keyboardists can play keyboards without seeing the keys. well you can still look at the keys and sing, but it'll look weird. but the reason I added it here cause playing keyboards doesn't need much pressure like guitar or drums. yes it needs a lot of attention, but at the same time you are free to sing

Update: I meant single keyboard. Not multiple keyboards.

4 Mandolin
5 Tambourine

Quite easy to play. Don't need much attention on it while singing.

6 Banjo
7 Sitar
8 Viola
9 Keytar
10 Piano The piano is a musical instrument played using a keyboard, which is a row of keys that the performer presses down or strikes with the fingers and thumbs of both hands.

Elton John, Freddie Mercury

The Contenders
11 Harmonica The harmonica, also known as a French harp or mouth organ, is a free reed brass instrument used worldwide in many musical genres, notably in blues.

You can't play it while singing. That's why not at very top. But you can use it when you take a break from changing verses

12 Flute The flute is a family of musical instruments in the woodwind group. Unlike woodwind instruments with reeds, a flute is an aerophone or reedless wind instrument that produces its sound from the flow of air across an opening.

Somehow, Ian Anderson managed to do it his whole career
