Top 10 Most Valid Boomer Complaints
Boomers love to complain about stuff. I know they can be super annoying to deal with. We all know those certain people who love to police everyone else, Karens in particular, but sometimes they actually have a valid point.
So we can hear them out and find common ground, here are some examples of valid complaints from Boomers.

Talking to Robots on Customer Service Calls Is Way Worse Than Talking to a Human
I hate calling a company and then having to talk to a bot instead of a person. Nine times out of 10, the bot can't even help me with my problem. Those things are completely useless, and they waste my time going through three different menus. Just let me talk to a person! It sucks that customer service is basically dead now.

Not Everything Should Be a Subscription
I hate how many streaming apps it requires to watch what I want to watch. I'm ready to go back to cable at this point because it's stupid how expensive everything is now. I mean, there are software subscriptions for appliances and cars, carwash memberships, and meal delivery subscriptions. It's ridiculous how many different places have a subscription service nowadays. It's beyond stupid. Just like apps.
The worst is the premium "ad-free plans" that still show ads or having to pay extra to watch certain content. Those plans can screw off.

Apps Should Not Be Required for Everything
Why does every single company need an app now? Every time I go to McDonald's, "Will you be using the mobile app today?" No, just take my order! Unless you're an app-based company like Uber, I should not have to download your app and create an account just to order or buy stuff. I know these companies just want to collect my data to sell it to the highest bidder. Can we go back to no apps for literally every single restaurant and store? Modern cars have apps. Like, what are we doing?

QR Code Menus Are Inconvenient
I remember back when COVID was around, every restaurant did this, and you had to scan the code for the menu, wait for it to load, and then scroll through everything and read the tiny font. That's assuming you can connect to the internet and your phone doesn't die. Just give me a physical menu so I can see pictures and read what it is! Thankfully, most places seem to have eliminated the QR code menu.

Restaurant Music Is Too Loud
I hate going somewhere to eat, and it feels like a nightclub. Seriously, why does every restaurant feel the need to play obnoxiously loud music? A bar or club is a different story, but at a regular restaurant, I want to have a conversation with people, and it's hard to hear other people talking over the loud music and noise. I don't even mind music. Just turn the volume down a notch. That's not unreasonable to ask.

People Need to Get Off Their Phones More
Why is it that everyone is so addicted to social media, especially TikTok and Instagram? People are on their phones all day, every day. Even when people are together, they're still on their phones so much. It's honestly annoying, but more than anything, it's disrespectful. Like seriously, put the phones down and enjoy the moment.
I hate people who record videos at concerts or post food pictures like I'm supposed to care. Just live in the moment. I think more concerts and sporting events should ban phones entirely.

Shows Are Too Dark and Quiet While Ads Are Loud and Bright
Hopefully I'm not the only one who notices this because I really don't understand why this is the case but I keep having to adjust the volume accordingly because it's so wildly inconsistent. Advertisements now are so obnoxious it's insane. Also the contrast between the brightness is annoying too.

Technology in Cars Nowadays Is Too Much
It seems counterintuitive to say no texting and driving while simultaneously putting giant screens in cars. Tell me why I have to navigate like three menus just to adjust the A/C. Not to mention having to connect my phone and navigate just to get to maps or music. It's all supposed to be "convenient," but normally, it's anything but that.
I miss the simplicity of older cars with knobs, dials, and buttons. None of this computer screen nonsense. Cars today feel more like spaceships!

Modern Appliances Don't Last Like They Used To
I hate how modern appliances suck now, and it's on purpose too. My grandma's refrigerator was built to last and works the same as it did 50 years ago, while any modern refrigerator will stop working after like five years just because the company knows you'll have to buy a new one. It's greedy and so scammy. I'm taking any old appliances over current ones any day.
-
LED Headlights Are Too Bright
Why are LED headlights on most cars way too bright now? It's not even people using their bright lights either. Regular headlights are way too bright and blinding to the point that it's almost dangerous. It's so bad that I straight up refuse to drive at night anymore if I can keep from it.
