Agree about Ludwig... But Chopin not being in the top 10 only shows how popular vote can be often wrong. He wrote the most beautiful pieces of pianos of all time. Is there anyone from over 15 years old who does not know the most famous funeral march in the world?...

Why do Mozart, Beethoven and Bach ALWAYS have to be at the top of every single list about classical music, not only on TheTopTens? They're good but to me it seems their fans aren't fans of classical music as a whole (the same goes for Eminem and hip-hop)

Both he and Mozart are synonymous with classical music. The opening to Beethoven's 5th symphony, and the finale of his 9th are universally recognized.
