The Best Middle-Earth characters from the Lotr movies and books also for the hobbit i'm basing this mostly over the cartoon and the book. But anyways this will mostly rank what they have done not based on popularity.

    Overall Gandalf Grey and White both versions are great to be honest i always like the Gandalf the Grey form better, but anyways he always been great in all Movies and actually i think he's been in the most movies The two cartoons, Three Lotr Movies and Three Hobbit Movies

    Read the book and watch the animated movie and you'll know what i mean he is a great character in the first hobbit movie he was still great and the other two were pretty boring in my opinion but he is great and in the first and third Lotr Movies
