Top 10 Monstercat Artists

The Top Ten

Tristam was there for me back when I was lost in 2012, with "I Remember" and "Too Simple". It was a dark time for me and Tristam didn't try to lighten my life back up, he taught me to embrace what I have. So many artists fake emotions to try to make songs that people enjoy, and Tristam just isn't one of those artists. Every single word that comes out of his mouth (along with every single not that is produced) has its own thought and expression of a different emotion. His songs are filled with sadness, but again, unlike other artists who fake emotions and then make you feel like complete crap, Tristam expresses his emotions, and they're actually dark. Not only that, but he EMBRACES the darkness of the situation, and comforts you. I have yet to hear any other artist write a song that's sad but comforting and embracing. It reminds me of when I found out about one of my best friends who committed suicide. I was with my other friend and after we got the call we just ...more

Tristam. The old Tristam was awesome but the new one.. is... I just.. Can't find the right word to describe him. With his unique Frenchy male voice.. With great inspirational.. True lyrics.. And all those beautiful melodies by his unique sounds, medieval toms, smooth drums... It's so perfect! For the every new song that he give us I get goosebumps and this friendly warmness inside my heart... Can't describe how good the feeling is! I also think his ideas are limitless which makes me sure that he will never fail to amaze me. My favorite songs by him are Empire Of Sound, Sublime and Before We Fade. I also extremely recommend Frame Of Mind, Crave, Far Away, My Friend and The Vine.

Tristam is more than just a legend. He's the king of all. If it wasn't for his brother, there wouldn't be any Tristam now. His French-Canadian accent plus his inspiring lyrics completes it all. And while most artists go to Monstercat, but Monstercat went to Tristam and picked him up.

Is there any question, really? From someone who isn't some giant expert on Monstercat, he was the first to really draw me in. I knew after a while that there was something special about his songs and lyrics. He deserves his place as #1. He doesn't do some insane dubstep nonsense like some artists. His songs have a smooth, soothing melody to it. 10/10 would jam out to again.

Pegboard Nerds

I LOVE pegboard nerds. I think its amazing how they make there music, and none of it sounds the same! Which is a good very good thing in this line of business.

Pegboard Nerds are the best monstercat artists. They explore tons of genres and make great danceable music.

Can you really get better than PegBoard Nerds? Their sounds are so unique and diverse. They can pretty much do any genre and excel at it. Disconnected is one of my favorite songs of all time and their remixes, Like Quiet Riot and Hero are jawdropping as well. They're my favorite.

Pegboard Nerds have tons of variety, and their music is the best quality of any Monstercat artist.

Stephan Walking

It's spelled Stephen, not Stephan

I like that he has his own style. He can take any genre and make it strange and unique

I like his style, it is kinda funny, so happy he is making music again.

Dad Rock. That's it. Best Monstercat artist for unique-ness.

Definitely number 1, this guy brings a unique Pendulum-like vibe to the table, never could listen to one of his songs without becoming ridiculously pumped and happy!

Just listen to calling out...

Come on, no. 24 - really? He deserves to be in the top 5!

Best Drum and bass along with pendulum

Varien collaborates with many amazing artists, his instrumental style is amazing, dark and catchy. Go Varien

Varein has more of a dark, heavy, instrumental style that no one else in the monstercat family has.

I love penguins, and ephixa is not afraid to stay with his own style

Ephixa can make any kind of music he wants and it will sound top notch.

You can't get better than Ephixa I mean really? He should be first

Please come back ephixa we need your bass

Au5 Austin Collins, going by the stage name Au5, is an American electronic dance music producer from New Jersey, USA.

One of the very few monstercat artists that actually has zero bad songs. The way this guy manages to combine several genres into amazing tracks with insanely impressive sound design, is absolutely crazy. Au5 really deserves to be on one of the higher spots on this list.

No one artist from Monstercat puts as much detail, complexity, bass, and production into their music than Au5. He deserves to be in the top ten

LOVE Snowblind, one of my favorite songs! Not to mention all the other au5 songs I love...

This guy is a dubstep and music legend. Every single one of his songs showcase his breathtaking sound design.

They bring the groove and funkiness in their music, one of the best in my opinion.

He is the ONLY artist that does Nu Disco, and Nu Disco is like in my Top 10 best types of music.

Best! I love automatic and neon

Televisor is very talented and unique, with songs like Alliance, Neon and Just Like You

Amazing music such as We won't be alone and Fury!

We won't be alone best music ever

Feint Makes incredibly unique and amazing music in the DnB and Electronic catagory!

Aero Chord

Aero Chord somehow finds a way to keep changing his style, and every time he does, I absolutely love it! I listen to Until the End before everyone of my games, because it just gets so pumped, and into the zone.

Aero Chord? His music sounds to me somewhat like the ones which legends talk about.

THIS GUY IS INCREDIBLE! Titans is one of the BEST dubstep/trap songs I have ever heard! HE SHOULD BE NUMBER 1!

Surface has to be the single biggest monstercat release after flight and discontented.

The Contenders

Project 46

Project 46 has created some pretty amazing songs like "Limitless" and " Ekho", definitely one of the best house creators out there

Project 46 is pretty much Monstercat's House artist. They are a legend

Noisestorm is a talented artist that needs to be praised. Classics like Renegade and Breakdown are some of the most well known tracks on Monstercat that are still my favorite after many years. Noisestorm deserves to be the best.

All songs I've heard by Noisestorm have Blown My Mind! Definitely some of the best songs I've ever heard. All Monstercat artists are amazing and deserve praise but Noisestorm will always be Number 1 for me..

He does every single genre besides trap, and makes good melodies and songs

I can't think of a noise storm song I don't like

One of the original artist of Monstercat!

You can't beat the classics, like 'French Fries' and 'Bad Pitched'.

They are so good Bad Pitched is still one of my top 10's

0.o I didn't even know insan3lik3 was a part of Monstercat! Oh dear... I am obsessed with some of their songs!

Flight, to the stars and frame of mind are all unique and awesome love all three

Even 3 of the 4 songs are made with Tristam, Braken is my favorite MonsterCat artist

One song by Braken is to the stars, AMAZING

All 4 of Braken's songs are awesome!

Nitro Fun

Nitro Fun has produced some amazing and catchy tracks, which I adore and listen to regularly.

Every song he releases on monstercat are always so catchy and unique to his awesome style!

Nitro Fun has been gone for a long time, and I love his music. It's super awesome! Go Nitro!

Final Boss and Cheat Codes are so good. Catchy too.

Acetone should be number 1 nevada is the best song ever

They should be first

How do you describe rogue. A trap artist. And nobody else in the monstercat roster can nail those massive bass drops like rogue can. The first song I ever listened to from monstercat was flight, so I got into it and went to the soundcloud page and saw that 019 endeavor had come out that exact night. Well. I closed my eyes and scrolled and randomly hit a song called Atlantic by rogue, and it fueled my love for monstercat. In my opinion Atlantic will always be one of rogues major hits, unfortunately it gets no love. It's so crazy, going from heavy trap to light electro. It's done so beautifully that I cannot find any other song from monstercat that gets me as pumped as Atlantic. Whenever I listen to the newer album mixes and I hear trap, I automatically know it's rogue. And when I hear the podcast and Atlantic is thrown in there, I wanna just break out dancing. Rogue will always be the underdog from monstercat, with little recognition, he never forgets about his music and understands ...more

So, Rouge really is #1 when it comes to trap music. That's his strong point, and he's pretty good at it saying that is an big understatement. The best thing about his music style are the bass drops. I love them, and they almost broke my headphones! When your headphones are about to break, you know you're listening to a masterpiece of a song.

I will never forget the first time I heard Rogue - Exogenesis. I instantly fell in love with Monstsercat, and even after all these years, Exogenesis is still my favorite song EVER! Along with Pegboard Nerds, Rogue is my favorite Monstercat artist.

I like Rogue, he's talented and makes great music. I particularly like Dreams and Adventure Time

These guys need more appreciation, they have some of the best songs in my opinion that should've been in par with the best on this list
Worth The Lie, One's Own, My Love are all my all time favorite songs

Dillon Francis

I like all of their songs!

Killin it is so good

His music inspires and has amazing lyrics. He had one of the most listeNed to songs on the newest album he is sick and a rising star.

The greatest Monstercat artist of all time. His songs are so empowering.

Always releases fire tracks, should be at least 2

Hellberh must be hands down the best house artist yet. He writes such inspirational lyrics for his songs, he has made countless songs that are so beautiful you forget everything around you.

The Fat Rat
Mr. Fijiwiji

I think that Mr. Fijiwiji should at least be in the top 5 or 6. I LOVE every monstercat artist out there, but Mr. Fijiwiji in over the top. I think all of his songs are very creative.

Mr. Fijiwiji (Amazing name by the way) has songs that are deeper then headbangers, not that I don't like them, but the Fij takes it to a whole other level.

So chill...

Grant Bowtie

He needs to release a tad bit more but besides that his songs (so far) are very unique and all have their own sparkle and shine.

There's so much detail in every one of his tracks you see why it took over a year to make every one of them.

All of his songs are filled with detail and uniqueness, wish I could see him on tour.

I love his future bass track, but he to make more tracks

Combine is such a good drum n' bass

I am completely convinces stonebank can't make a bad song

Stonebank can do anything.

Need something to get you going? Turn to this man

How is this guy 37?

Tut Tut Child

Maelstrom is absolutely ear shattering, in the best way. Dragon Pirates bass boosted also does odd, happy things to the thought processes.

Many of their songs have been my favorite at one time or another, such as hot pursuit and dragon pirates. Catchy tunes and amazing drops and buildup in every song.

I love tut tut child, he started more on the techno side but when the track "Hummingbird" got released, it blew my mind.

Makes great, catchy songs, and makes a lot better base drops than most Monstercat artists. While Pegboard Nerds, Tristam, and Rogue are up there on my list, Tut Tut Child is better. Dragon Pirates, Maelstrom, Dance To It, and Hummingbird are some of my favorites.

Tokyo Machine

Deserves to be higher on the list, but I understand why he's down here. It's probably extremely hard to challenge the staple artists of Monstercat. Hopefully he will be able to climb higher and higher!

One thing that sets Tokyo Machine apart from many other Monstercat artists is his distinct style, and you know if you're listening to song he created or not.

Probably one of the least well known artists, though the 8-bit feel and those amazing drops make him one of the best artists I've heard on Monstercat.

Still Very new to monstercat, but will make his name and be a to artist soon

Pixl is one of the best and should be around the top 5 this list is trash

This guy is top 10 to me. Buzz Kill and Sugar Rush are awesome songs!

Pixl is a pretty good artist, if I do say so myself.

Broken bones is pure amazing

Hardwell Robbert van de Corput, who performs under the stage name Hardwell, is a Dutch big room house and electro house DJ and music producer.

Why on earth is he on this list?

OMMG I love his song flight feat. tristan and broken <3 my favorite monstrcat of all tim! 1!

Come on guys! Keep on rocking is monstercat's best song!

F.O.O.L. is a god.

Rameses B

Makes such peaceful music, and very heartlifting, it's hard to resist the slow, yet amazing music from Rameses B. Songs like Timeless and Transformations, are incredible.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but Sphere is a god tier song. And of course all the others (Interstellar, Airglow, Messiah, etc.) are fantastic!

Interstellar and Supernova are 2 of the best Monstercat tracks ever released in my opinion. Along with Nitro Fun, he deserves to be at the top of this chart. The closer EP was amazing! Perhaps the best of those five tracks would be Our Arrival.

Laszlo also does some amazing songs outside Monstercat but Supernova was good!

Laszlo is a very good artist.

Rebirth is a beast EP

EXCUSE ME. #38? Absolutely unacceptable for who most agree is one of (if not, the) most talented and original artists on the label. So triggered right now...

Such a unique sound. He perfectly combines natural instruments with extremely catchy electronic themes. Every MC artist is great, but Haywyre 's songs blow me out of the water every time. My favourites (out of what I've heard so far) are Synergy, Back and Forth and The Schism.

Literally bea

Why one of the most original and talented musicians in EDM history is this far down really bothers me

I don't get how Razihel is not in the top 10.

Okay, I have no idea what happened here. He should totally be number 1. My top four favorite songs are all by Razihel, Titans, Legends, Skybreaker, and Edge of the World. Come on, is this list even joking?

He the king of music

Astronaut's tracks are without a the best when it comes to atomosphere.

Astronuat track have good lyics and styles

Absolutely unique and fully capable of making a good song in any genre. Not defined by style, he always makes great songs.

Concrete Jungle is amazing, and he has an assortment of other great songs as well

Rootkit is one of my favorite artists on monstercat. His old songs are amazing. But his new songs are even better he has definitely mastered house and tracks are getting better and better. SO UNDERATTED

Droptek definitely deserves more recognition than he has. We all have to admit, despite having basically no lyrics, his songs are awesome. Cosmic Ray, as well, is one kick-ass song you need to listen to if you haven't already.

Droptek is honestly very good. I think he's underrated. Songs like What's going on? Pretty dang chill.

Killing time is pretty good

Best Non Vocalized Artist On Monstercat, With ROGUE In Very Close Secound!

Among the most underrated artists on monstercat, he can do so many styles so well, and the complexity in some of his tracks is insane. My second favorite is Au5, and they're even better together.

Duality was something else

I think WRLD will get more popular. He is continuously making more songs.

Should be way higher

Cover art always good and music is always awesome

"By Design" is a good progress for WRLD

Hyper Potions

He is a great new Future Bass artist and I hope he shines later in his music career

New song and I love it

Easily the best Future Bass out there! 100% deserves a top 10 spot

Just a great artist with his Future Base Songs.

Grabbitz deserves to be at the top because he has such a unique style, can do the "impossible" with music, and always releases something different. His trapish-based style is something not seen everyday. His songs are always so well-received by the fans for a reason. I say he can do the impossible because he can somehow take orchestral instruments and combine it with hardcore trap in one song, which reasonably seems like a challenge to do. If you haven't check it out yet, his Friends EP is worth hearing because it is outstanding because every song in it flows nicely through and tells a story through lyrics and the music itself. Not to mention, he has such a great singing voice and can put any of his own vocals in his music. He deserves to be at the top.

The first monstercat album I listened to was 014, and then later 025, recommended to me by a friend. I haven't been in the fandom that long, but the first song that really stood out to me and that I listened to on repeat was "Way Too Deep," which you all probably already know is a grabbitz song. To this day, he's still my favorite artist.

Why isn't Grabbitz in the top ten? His music is amazing!

He has so much skill when creating complex patterns. Just take friends for example and imagine how he designed that.

Unlike Pluto
Karma Fields

This artists makes completely unique tracks, Build the Cities, Skyline, and it's debut LP, New Age | Dark Age is very unique and stunning. You'll love this artist, trust me!

Nigel Good

Amazing new artist, deserves to be in the top 10.

Brilliant music, one of my favorite artists right now along with Laszlo.

That flow, that surprise, that feel...we want MOAR!
