43 Ed Sheeran Ed Sheeran Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He was born in Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk.

Very talented, very great, and very acknowledged. Huge fan, and he deserves all the acclaim he gets, but I think even Ed himself would tell you he's not underrated.

Ed sheeran is insanely talented, such a great singer, and a totally down-to-earth, kind human being. I don't think he's underrated though. Not overrated either. I think he's in a really good place right now.

He is such a talented singer, better than beiber, sam smith and nick jonas... His new album X is a great achievement, he deserves more fame!

He's very talented, but I don't know if I'd consider him underrated. Just look at how well his latest album did.

44 Eddie Vedder Eddie Vedder Eddie Vedder is an American musician, singer and songwriter best known as a member of the rock band Pearl Jam, with whom he performs lead vocals and is one of three guitarists.

It almost sounds weird to say that the lead singer of Pearl Jam and someone as acclaimed as Vedder is underrated, but on these Top Ten lists, he seems to be. I know he is behind Bieber in the top male singers list. So, yeah, I guess he is and should probably even be moved up.

Seriously, he's just as good as Roger Daltrey, Kurt Cobain, and other great singers. There haven't been many in the rock world that can top him. And if you don't believe me, try singing "Black". Harder than it sounds.

45 Haley Reinhart Haley Reinhart Haley Elizabeth Reinhart is an American singer, songwriter, and voice actress from Wheeling, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

She is so low because she shouldn't be on the list at all. I'm not saying she's not good, but she's overexposed if anything and certainly not underrated.

Why is Legendtina so low? She has perhaps the best voice in the history of singers, yet not many people truly appreciate and understand how vastly talented she is. She should be number one!

Voice of the generation. PERIOD.

I want her to sucessfully comeback! - PugsfromMoon

Should be in the top five without hesitation. I'd personally put him at number one. I've never heard an artist sing as honestly and emotionally as Jeff Buckley, without any feeling of his ego making an appearance. He channels this purity through his songs that just connects to something universal. In addition, his fearlessness to pursue various genres and time periods of music allowed him to build an arsenal of musical devices he could equip at any moment. That, combined with his technical mastery of the guitar and his voice, put him in the rare position to go in any musical direction he wanted. His death was so odd, that I can't help but feel as though there was some deeper fate that Buckley was, and still is traveling along.

He was such an old soul and so deep. He breathed so much emotion into his music and despite his talent he wasn't about the fame. Around the time he died there were a lot of celebrity deaths and his was probably the least known of all them. Honestly he should be number 1.

This man blows the entire top ten out of the water. Geri halliwell?! Lindsey lohan!? A set of boobs and a walking disaster.

Jeff Buckley deserves to be in the top five of this list more than anyone who is there right now.

How's she underrated? Her music videos are watched by the entire population!

She is a rock/pop singer and she created a legacy.

She's versatile, and has a big range. - ilovekelly75

She doesn't have an spectacular range, but she does a lot with what she has, the only problem is her holier than thou persona, singingwise she's awesome. - LukeTargaryen

Had one of the best voices ever and still has one of the best at 72. I can't believe on most lists I read he is below 50 so underrated.

I would consider him top 5 singers ever yet he is always between 50-200.

58 Passenger Passenger Michael David Rosenberg, better known by his stage name Passenger, is an English singer-songwriter and musician.

If I know 1 thing it is that passenger is the most underrated singer of all time. Everyone recognizes him because of let her go but if you take time to listen to anyone of his other songs you'll realize that he doesn't get 1/10 of the respect he truly deserves. Firstly when you listen to him it's just HIS voice and real instruments.he doesn't need bull like auto tune or backup singers or someone who knows how to use a synthesizer. secondly all of his songs have meaning and aren't pointless. Even when he curses it's with meaning. And finally he is one of the few singers that Is getting better over time rather than worse. He deserves just as much (if not more) attention as someone like "The Weeknd". I'm not saying The Weeknd is bad.he's actually one of my favorites now. I'm just saying Passenger Deserves just as much attention than him.

A Great Singer Yet He Doesn't Get Recognized

He is most underrated singer... Love him so much
#From India...

Many of songs today comes only with good beats.
His comes tightly compact, poetically speaking.

I wouldn't say she's on the level of the others on this list, but so many people think she can't sing, and her first album completely disproves that. - ilovekelly75

She is actually overrated nowadays. Her songs now suck

I really don't like her. I doubt she even writes any of her stuff and she's such a diva

Anyone that listen to her song Perfume will see that she can sing. - LukeTargaryen
