Most Epic Movie Series of All Time
Lord of the Rings is definitely the most epic movie series of all time. Harry Potter is good, but not an epic. The series is focused on little adventures until the the big climax with Lord Voldemort. In fact, a lot of the stories is about them learning magic, Voldemort is not really considered a big threat until mid-way through the series. I believe an Epic a series focused on one threat, with maybe a couple story lines. One big adventure, the whole thing took place in about a year, with the main heroes suffering through many hardships throughout the whole thing. All to save Middle Earth, and its people.
Harry Potter clasifies as epic by definition. Its just unbeliveably great, and are a personal treasure to me owning the films. (I probably value them more than the rest of the stuff I have owned to date lol). But if you want to talk a bout the most epic film of all time the fight should be between star wars vs tlotr. That two series...man. Are the alpha and the omega in the extension of the "epic" word meaning and escence. I really can't tell which is more epic but I like The Lord of the Rings a bit more. Cause the fact that it feels as a one 9 hours film that you feel you're emotionally someone different at the end of it all. Like for reals.
Are you nuts? Harry Potter more epic than Star Wars? I LOVE Harry Potter but if you talk about epic the Webster's dictionary even has a paragraph where it says "Star Wars saga"
This is what you call epic. It was made in 1977, and it was more intense. Star Wars gives you that feeling when you are on the edge of your feet.

Best because its continuity is real. Every film connects to the next film and newer films fill in gaps of older films. Its all one gigantic T.V. show that when viewed as a whole is a masterpiece and I love it!
This series includes amazing movies as The Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America: The Winter Soldier!
Good but The Avengers is so gigantically overrated because it has Amman awful story
