Top 10 Best Theatrical Superhero Movies of All Time
The Dark Knight is what I like to call a perfect superhero movie. Starting with the fact that it holds one of cinema's greatest acting performances of all time (Heath Ledger as The Joker), it has a phenomenal soundtrack written by Hans Zimmer who is among some of the greatest composers. The soundtrack is among his best work side by side with Gladiator, Man of Steel, The Lion King, Inception, and Interstellar. And it also is arguably the sequel that improved most upon it's original and some even consider it to be the best movie sequel of all time which may not be true but it surely is one of the best. I really do also believe that Christian Bale had the best acting performance of Batman and Heath Ledger holds the best Joker to this day. It has everything you would want in a superhero movie. And another good thing about this movie is it's not full of action and action isn't thrown all over it which makes the movie good.
This had lots of great action and was highly anticipated and didn't disappoint.
It's stupid compared to the Winter Soldier anyway.
Hands down, the best animated superhero movie every made, heck, one of the best superhero movies ever made too. And I think this is one of the only Pixar films centered around humans besides having them as background characters. Let's see: Toy Story trilogy: toys, A Bug's Life: bugs, Monsters, Inc./Monsters University: monsters, Finding Nemo/Finding Dory: fish, The Incredibles: humans (superheroes), Cars trilogy: cars, Ratatouille: rats, WALL-E: robots, Brave: humans (princesses), Inside Out: emotions, The Good Dinosaur: dinosaurs. So far we've had 2 Pixar films centered mainly around humans, The Incredibles and Brave. The Incredibles has really memorable scenes and characters, it probably has the best Pixar villain tied with Lotso (Toy Story 3) for first place. This was Fant4stic done right.
The start to the The Dark Knight trilogy.
It is one of the best superhero movie of all time!
Yes, this was theatrically released.
