Top 10 Best Nicki Minaj Songs
From her instantly recognizable voice and shape-shifting flows to her bold fashion choices, Nicki Minaj has become one of the most influential artists in hip-hop and pop. Over the years, she has delivered an explosive mix of hard-hitting bars, playful lyrics, and catchy hooks that have dominated charts, fueled fan debates, and shaped pop culture.
Nicki's journey began in New York City, where she grew up after moving from Trinidad and Tobago and started making a name for herself through mixtapes and underground buzz. Before long, she caught the attention of Lil Wayne and signed with Young Money Entertainment, setting the stage for one of the most successful rap careers of her generation.
Her debut album, Pink Friday, arrived in 2010 and pushed her firmly into the mainstream. Songs like Super Bass and Moment 4 Life helped turn her into a global star, with Super Bass becoming one of the defining rap-pop crossover hits of the decade.
From there, her career kept expanding through chart-topping albums, massive collaborations, and features that often made her feel less like a guest and more like the reason everyone showed up. With Pink Friday 2, she earned her third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, giving her the most No. 1 albums among female rappers.
Her music has never fit neatly into one lane. She can tear through a track like Roman's Revenge with theatrical menace, then pivot to bright, radio-ready pop on Starships without sounding like she wandered into the wrong studio.
That range is a huge reason Nicki has stayed relevant for so long. She pushes boundaries, switches personas, bends genres, and still sounds unmistakably like herself. Whether she's rapping like she has something to prove or dropping a hook designed to live rent-free in your head, Nicki Minaj knows how to make a song feel like an event.

Super Bass
Oh my God! This is the coolest song by Nicki Minaj. The rap beats and her sweetest voice combine to give a wonderful listening experience. This is definitely her greatest hit, and it should be #1. This song deserves it, as its catchy beat is undeniable.
According to many critics, "Super Bass" is the most powerful and energetic release by Nicki Minaj. Her vocal talents were highlighted with the release of her debut single "Your Love." However, I believe this song should be in the #1 spot on this list.
Honestly, I think most people agree that she should make more songs like this one. I like all her songs in the top 8 here, but after that, most of the other songs I like on here are ones where she is featured or where someone else is featuring her.
I love this song and Starships a lot, as well as the other songs in the top 8 and a few outside the top 8. The songs by her I like, I really like. The ones I don't like, I couldn't care less about.

Starships
I have never listened to and liked Nicki Minaj, but Starships is really making me fly high. It's a mind-blowing song, and listening to it on Dr. Dre Beats is out of this world. Nicki, thumbs up for this song. Cameran from Karachi, Pakistan.
This is one of the best songs I've ever heard. She has an amazing voice in this song. How can anyone dislike it? It's not annoying, although some of her songs can be inappropriate. This song has inappropriate language, but I'll listen to the clean version instead.
-
Pound the Alarm
RedOne's songwriting is definitely shown in Pound the Alarm. It should have charted higher than Starships. I love the house influence and Nicki's raps. But all of Nicki's stuff is amazing.
I love this song, and it's so Rio-styled. I love the style of the clothes and all the feathers. It's got some great lyrics, and it's by Nicki Minaj. What's not to love?
So catchy and awesome. I like Fly, Moment 4 Life, Starships, and Super Bass, but this one is the catchiest and best.
-
Turn Me On
This is the best song by Nicki because it has a great beat, and she has a really good voice in the song. If you love Nicki rapping, there is a rapping part in it too. All in all, this is a top ten worthy song.
I think she really shows her voice here, singing properly with good lyrics. In other songs, she has too much embellishment (i.e., auto-tune) and sounds too high-pitched, trashy, and girly.
David Guetta and Nicki Minaj made this song perfect. This song makes me dance. It really deserves to be in Nicki Minaj's top ten. Really love it.

Moment 4 Life
I am a Barb, and to this day, Moment 4 Life is still my favorite. The queen of rap has plenty of lyrical megahits. However, this song is truly a classic. It has such a timeless feel, a great chorus, and some of Nicki's best lyrics, along with great verses by Drake. Though Nicki has many megahits and classics, this song proves she is and will always be the queen of rap.
I love the combination of Nicki and Drake. They go well together. They can do a song, and it will be amazing.
You go, Nicki! Keep doing your thing, and in a while, you'll be number one.
-
Fly
The lyrics are awesome.
"I am not a word, I am not a line
I am not a girl that can ever be defined
I am not fly, I am levitation
I represent an entire generation."
One of her best songs to date, if not the best. She stays on topic and remains vulnerable throughout the entire song, a challenge she faces in many of her serious songs such as "Freedom" and "Pills N Potions." I need more music like this from Nicki, including songs like "Encore 07," "Autobiography," "Can Anybody Hear Me," and "Marilyn Monroe."
The lyrics are super empowering, and Rihanna's voice adds a great flair. One of the few Nicki songs I like.

Va Va Voom
It's so catchy, and I am in charge of selecting songs for the disco. This has got to go onto the list!
All the Nicki songs are awesome! Got to love.
She sings and raps! Can you get any better? It has the same tempo as Super Bass but with a much better melody. Plus, it is actually her on the chorus, not Ester Dean (or whoever sings the Super Bass chorus). Also, it has the best bridge in any song ever!
Va va voom! This is such a cool song. I have heard it infinite times, and it comes to my lips anytime. Best song ever.
-
Grand Piano
Grand Piano is absolutely incredible. It blew me away. Nicki is truly evolving, and it's a very vulnerable and emotional side of her.
If you haven't heard this song yet, it is a must-have.
Her most emotionally involving song ever. This song can make me cry. I really wasn't expecting it from Nicki, but now that it's here, it's everything to me.
Love it. Stupid haters just listen to Anaconda, and they never heard this. It's amazing.
-
Beez in the Trap
The beat of this song is very awesome. I love it. Nicki in this music video is very hot!
This song is just so great. Nothing can compare.
Best song ever! Just hear the beats, baby!
-
Pills N Potions
I really love Nicki without makeup. She is so pretty. I wasn't expecting it. I can't believe Fly and Starships were ranked above it. This is one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. I hope she keeps singing songs like this.
Nicki shows a very emotional side in this song, as she is confronted by her anger and her love. And it's a great way to start off her new album.
This song unveils a brand new side of Nicki. She looks so good without all that makeup and wigs in the music video. This song also carries a message - don't do drugs. The flow is great, the lyrics are smooth, and it's just an awesome song. Pills N Potions forever!

Roman's Revenge
I honestly doubted that a Nicki Minaj and Eminem collaboration would work because one is an aggressive rapper and the other is more of a mainstream rapper. However, the two have chemistry, and it made the song work well. Good flows too.
I love Eminem's verses in this song. It's her best and most addictive song ever, besides Super Bass. Nicki Minaj and Eminem go great together!
I'm a huge Eminem fan, and that's why I decided to listen to this song in the first place. I also loved Nicki's part.
-
Your Love
Your Love is my favorite song by Nicki Minaj. It's such a lovely, soft song. It is definitely the best and most sensible song by Nicki. A lot of her songs are a bit silly but funny, but this song is just the greatest by her and one of the best songs I've ever listened to.
This song is really one of a kind. Compared to her other music, it really is something special. The beat and simple tone make it even better. I love the message, and the chorus always makes me want to sing along. A very great love song.
Nicki's old stuff is the best. This is the stuff that needs recognition. Your Love isn't even that old but is still a million times better than songs like Starships and Anaconda. Your Love is amazing, as is Moment For Life.
-
The Night Is Still Young
This is a 2010-styled song from Nicki Minaj. It does have Pink Friday vibes, and yeah, it's pretty enjoyable.
It's such a wonderful song, and it's friendly, unlike most of her others.
Lovely how people bash Anaconda but don't give this any attention.
-
Check It Out
If you don't think it's the best, check it out. Everyone needs a pun once in a while.
This is my favorite song. You all folks should listen to it. It will make you go crazy.
-
Marilyn Monroe
A nice, serious, heartfelt song that breaks up Nicki's usual song theme. Of course, it would be an improvement if there was a classic Nicki verse in the middle of it, but it's a nice alternative nevertheless.
It's not a typical Nicki Minaj song. It doesn't have any rap, but it is pretty upbeat. Mostly something Selena Gomez could sing, but it's pretty good and catchy even without any rap. It's nice to have a tribute to an awesome artist.
So beautiful. I can't believe the same person who created this amazing, inspiring song also created Stupid Hoe. She is so talented. She just needs to show the world she's got it.
-
Right Thru Me
How can you not like this song? I listened to this for hours just today.
-
Save Me
Easily her most intimate song to date. It features her singing, which is sometimes hard to appreciate with Nicki, but she does it perfectly on this track.
Vote Save Me!
She has so many good songs that I understand why this isn't higher, although this might be my choice if I had to choose. It's hard to pick because she has many great tracks.
It is the world's best song. How is it not in the top 10 songs?
-
Freedom
Wait, but I think this is the best of Nicki Minaj's songs, and I can't stop listening to it! This should be in the top ten!
This is the song that validated Nicki as an artist.
This song needs to chart higher!

All Things Go
This song is so beautiful. It may not be a popular single, but within her whole Pinkprint album, it's one of the best. It tells about her past life and the struggles she has been through. She transforms those situations into amazing analogies and metaphors. This is also one of the first songs she recorded involving so much about her life and emotions, including a very tear-jerking chorus. Everything in this song is beyond real and one of her best in all of her rap career.
All Things Go shows a different side of Nicki Minaj, beyond her alter ego. The lyrics touch on her struggles through abortion, marriage, and more. After I listened to this song, my view of Nicki changed dramatically. This song deserves to be higher.
-
High School
I really had no idea which song I should vote for.
Nicki is just amazing, and the mix of coolness and craziness in her voice makes all her verses unique and so much fun to listen to.
I've chosen High School because, after listening to it about 1,000 times, it still doesn't annoy me. The beat is sick, and I damn love Nicki and Wayne collaborations. But I could have also chosen Moment 4 Life, Va Va Voom, Right by My Side, Bottoms Up, Where Them Girls At, BedRock, Monster, Y.U. Mad, Knockout, Take It to the Head, Tapout, or some of her remixes. They are great too. Excuse my English.
This is a really great and catchy song. Please vote for it because it deserves it. Awesome song, definitely one of her greatest. Just vote! Vote! Vote!

Bed of Lies
It's a shame how underrated this is. Great lyrics, nice delivery, over an emotional beat, and the vocal talent that is Skylar Grey.
This song is great and very emotional. I love this song a lot, so give it a try.
Skylar Grey's hook was dope, and it tells about her 'real' story, not about 'buttshaker'. I love this song.

Anaconda
You guys need to realize that this is music now. Artists have adapted to this type of music. You can be offended. I'm not saying you have to like this song, but either way, Nicki Minaj is making Benjamins off this song.
Listen to Nicki Minaj's other songs. I'm a huge Nicki Minaj fan. This song is not to my liking, but I still love Nicki. Go listen to Moment 4 Life, Fly, All Things Go, etc. You guys can complain all you want, so just don't listen to it. It's that simple. If you hear it on the radio all the time in your car or on your TV, listen to your music, not the radio. You guys can have your opinions.
I look up to Nicki Minaj as a role model. She encourages girls to go to school and says that you don't need men to look good. If that's not role model material, I don't know what is.
On her recent album, The Pinkprint, she has Anaconda and All Things Go. All Things Go was a personal song about her pouring out her past life. And Anaconda is about women with big butts not needing to be ashamed. Or what you guys say, "all about butts." Because you're right. It is.
And I'm not going to cuss you all out. I'm way too young and mature for that. Welcome to the new generation, guys!
