Best Songs From David Bowie's Hunky Dory
Awesome lyrics.
This is my favorite song to sing on this album, and it is one of my favorite songs to sing ever. It is really great.
It's amazing, that's all I have to say.
Piano is my favorite instrument. Hence, I voted for this song.
I have loved this album for a long time, but I never listened to this song because a) it is about Nietzschean ideas, which I disagree with, and b) I didn't think it was that great. But when I made this list, I went back and listened to it again. I swear, I had never heard it before. It was fantastic.
Obviously, Changes and Life on Mars? are classic tracks, but I think Quicksand and Song for Bob Dylan are underrated classics that have grown on me over time. Quicksand deserves many more listens.
Life on Mars? is my favorite, but I felt that this should be higher.
Easily the best on the album.
Listen for the piano part. It is fantastic.
I always enjoy this one.
Tie him up while he's fast asleep, send him on a pleasant cruise. Andy Warhol looks a scream.
Hang him on my wall. Bowie at his most controversial. Makes me smile. And the classical Spanish sound of the guitar makes me want to play the castanets.
Come on, people. This song is so good!
