Best Songs from David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

Great tune. This was the first Bowie song I heard.

His best song ever.

Bowie's voice is at its best, and Mick Ronson's guitar solo is fantastic. This song is also, in my opinion, the best live performance from this album.

How is this not number 1?

I'm sorry, but the riff is great, the lyrics are top-notch, and David's vocals are just awesome. Way better than Starman, in my opinion.

The piano opening! The vocal harmonies! The wonderful singing! The sympathetic characters!

Why is this at the bottom of the list? Why?

Perfect love song showcasing Ziggy's personal views on love. The song is told from Ziggy's perspective, and as an alien rockstar, he isn't suited for a regular love life.
