Best Songs From Marilyn Manson's Holy Wood
Atmosphere at this one is incredible. Definitely best track from Holy Wood in my opinion
The most terrifying yet enthralling track on the album; it delivers that amazing foreboding emotion rarely seen in a composition and similarly heightens and drops the tension with great emphasis on the melodic aspect of the track; this is comparable to the greatness that is emitted by Pink Floyd's "Empty Spaces." Also similar with the conclusion of both tracks are the climactic bleeding and fading into the next track with perfect synchronization; "Empty Spaces" to "Young Lust" as "A Place in the Dirt" to "The Nobodies." Due to this amazing dark tone bleeding into the more frantic dance feel, "A Place in the Dirt" is the other most compelling and amazingly melodic track of the album right along with "The Nobodies." These would be the two tracks I've strongly preferred over the rest.
This is the darkest piece on the album and it leads perfectly into "The Nobodies"!
"Target Audience (Narcissus Narcosis)" is one of the most beautiful and thought-provoking songs ever written, so therefore I think personally, it should at least be at number 2 on this list.
This song is so clever in the lyrical content, and it should be number 1!
Amazing background guitar running throughout the song as a strongly memorable riff! Amongst the heavier tracks of the album and even so, maintains a massively powerful guitar work from start to finish! Each primary vocal part of the track is strengthened by the hard tune that aids in its delivery!
This song should be higher
