Top 10 Best The Fray Songs
I am really sorry for our generation that has to go back to the '90s or '80s for meaningful and beautiful songs. I don't want to be disrespectful to anyone or any taste (excuse me if I am), but frankly, are we even able to compare The Fray, The Beatles, Biggie, or Nirvana to today's artists? Just a bunch of words that make rhymes and a melody can't be named a song. Thanks to the dear Lord, we can keep listening to these kinds of songs.
This song is old but still brings tears to my eyes. It really does combine all the inner frustrations that come with seeing someone you love fall apart right in front of you without being able to do a thing about it. It definitely speaks to the heart.
'You Found Me' has so much meaning to me. This was the song that was playing when I was asking my teacher of two years if he knew that I was dyslexic, and he said yes. He just saw that I dealt with it so well. Honestly, I never thought I did. "Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me." That was what I was, and that was what happened.
I found myself with 'You Found Me.' I say that because, after that, I started telling my friends, and all they said was that it meant I was twenty times stronger than they thought. Then, my first concert was a The Fray concert, and they played this song. I just cried as Isaac looked at me and seemed pained at the sight of me crying. I wish I could tell him why I was crying.
At the start of the song, the synthesizer part is simply awesome. The first time I heard this song, I simply fell in love with it. It really should be in the top 3, and this song actually deserves to be in it. To whoever is reading this comment, I request you to hear this song rather than listening to the Justin Bieber song.
There are a few songs that I listen to only when I need to hear something that can motivate me. This is one of those songs. It's one of the best songs there. This should be number 1, in my opinion. I really dislike Justin Bieber, though I am not a mindless hater, because he made a similar song.
I'm sorry, but this should be tied for number one with How to Save a Life, or at least second. It is infinitely better than You Found Me and Look After You.
I am absolutely in love with this song. Anyone would be, really.
Great song! The moving piano melody is fantastic, better than How to Save a Life in my opinion.
Great song. Mike Posner did a great cover. The Fray's Over My Head remix... This should be number one. It deserves to be.
Great vocals. Love this song.
Truly gorgeous. I cry every time I hear this song, even though most people cry when they hear How to Save a Life. This one seems to hit closer to home for me, and it is a beautiful song. Give it a listen. You won't be disappointed.
Amazing is all I can say. Unbelievable. Actually, does this song even need words to be described? I first listened to the cover by Louis Tomlinson. Both are literally unbelievable. It's an emo, and I guess one of the best emos ever. God bless them.
This song has a vibe and feeling that no other on this list has. It can relax your nerves and send you on an emotional and spiritual ride. I love it for its amazing simplicity and the way it can invoke my own past experiences and emotions.
Say When is the best song ever written by The Fray. After I heard this song, I became attached to it. I have yet to find a song that I thought was better than this.
Please, someone help me find something similar to this!
Why is this not first? It's the best song ever! Not just by them, but in the world!
It's full of emotion and meaning, and the melody goes with the song really well. It should be first. What the heck?
The first song I heard from this group, and it blew me away with all the feels.
I think this song is totally underrated because it's from their new album. This is just as good, or maybe even better, than How to Save a Life and You Found Me.
It's so awesome: lyrics, melody, everything. On repeat for me too!
I think the new album from The Fray shows all the strength of their old albums, but they change it up to show a new side to them.
This needs to be number 2 after How to Save a Life. This song takes me on an adventurous trip with my loved one.
This is my personal favorite song from The Fray. I have an emotional connection to the song as well. It's one of my all-time favorite songs. Such is the warmth and relief I get when listening to it. I wish it were number one on the list.
Seriously, this song is AMAZING! It should be way higher on this list.
Such a great song. I used this after my Bar Mitzvah montage.
This is one of the best songs I've listened to in a very long time. I don't understand why it's at number 9. It should be the first preference. This song, and all of the songs that The Fray writes and sings, have the most heartfelt lyrics that I have ever read, let alone heard, in a very long time. I love everything about their lyrics. They really speak to you.
Absolutely amazing. This album should've been the main soundtrack for The Hunger Games, but this song, in particular, should've been its theme song. I love it.
This is by far one of the best songs by The Fray. Everything about it is perfect: the music, the lyrics.
I can't believe this is not in the top 5! Absolutely astonishing.
Amazing song. I cannot believe this song is so low in the rankings.
WHAT? Why is this at 26? This is as awesome as heaven!
The Newcomers
This is a lovely song. The music in the background is amazing.
How could it be forgotten?
How could we forget Give It Away by The Fray? This was the first Fray song I ever heard.
Give It Away is by far the best I've heard so far.
There's just something about this song that I love. The instrumental part is simple and delicate, but it's the beautiful lyrics that I adore the most.
I love this song so much. Why isn't it in the top ten?
Can't stop listening to this song. It should be in the top ten.
I love this song. Probably not my favorite by The Fray, but it deserves to be higher than where it is. That's why I'm voting!
This is a great song. It deserves more than a 14 ranking.
This is the best of The Fray songs! I love it.
This is number one on my list. Number 20? What a joke. How is this behind Syndicate or She Is? Those songs are good, but this one is way better.
"Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same." This phrase is just amazing!
"And all at once the crowd begins to sing... Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same."
This song just makes me cry every time I hear it. It has raw emotion that is expressed through both the lyrics and the voice of the singer. It's one of those rare combinations that people just love. If you haven't listened to it, please do.
The Fray has so many amazing songs, and this is absolutely one of the top ones. It should be ranked higher.
The lyrics and the singing are very emotional. It's impossible not to be touched by this song.
Every time I hear this song, I can't stop the tears from streaming. It definitely deserves more views and downloads!
How come this song is only at 22nd place? It's so deep and thoughtful. There are more possible interpretations to this song, but personally, I like to look at it as a song about two people who want to connect and bond but are finding it difficult to do so. Especially the woman, who will leave her parental house to live with her husband or boyfriend. But is she actually ready to do so?
It could also be about living apart together but now taking the next step, even though they are going through tough times occasionally.
Overall, a great song and it should definitely end up higher on the list!
I think that this is a really good song. It has good lyrics and good music, and everything goes really well together.
It's fast becoming one of my favorite songs from The Fray. Top three, at least.
Musically and lyrically, this song is incredible. The level of emotion that exists in the storyline is like that of a journey over a lifetime. Captivating.
Their best song! Period. This song has a good story and should be in the top 5 of their best songs, or at least top 10.
I have to admit, this isn't my favorite song, but if I actually tried to pick one out of all these absolutely beautiful masterpieces, I just know my head would explode. So, I'm going to settle for voting for one that I think should be higher on the list.
This song deserves a better place. It is very catchy and surprisingly badass for a Fray song.
An amazing song! It should be in the top ten. It makes you feel so happy.
Damn! This should be much higher on the list. This song absolutely blew me away. Best of Isaac Slade, best of The Fray? Why not?
This is one of the most romantic songs I've ever heard. It should definitely be higher on this list.
This is the best of The Fray. Really the best. Guys, let's take it to number one.
This is actually the first song that's made me go wow. A lot of people cry over songs, and I'm usually untouched, but this song really gets me. I don't know if it's the tune or the meaning or both, but wow, what a song!
I love this song! This song is so easy to relate to for some people, and it's so touching too. Even though this is a cover of Kanye West's song, it's still so amazing. I just replayed it like a million times! Listen to it, and you'll have it on replay for the rest of your life. Just my opinion, though!
I first heard the Nightcore version of this, but then I decided to find the actual song. This is the first song by The Fray that I ever heard (that I know of), but How to Save a Life is still the best.
I cannot believe this isn't in the top 10! Great story behind it, great beat, great lyrics, and an awesome song.
This song is definitely going to be the song I'll be listening to when I'm going far away from my boyfriend, never to see him again ten months later. It makes me cry each time I listen to it.
This song is absolutely amazing, and the lyrics are just WOW. This song is by far my favorite song sung by The Fray.
I love this song because it has a deep meaning. Keep the faith that no matter what, God will be there for us.
I am absolutely astonished this song isn't the very first one. The lyrics are indescribable. "Happiness damn near destroys you, breaks your faith to pieces on the floor. So you tell yourself, 'that's enough for now.' Happiness has a violent roar." The statement the song makes is almost never described, and it's so incredibly unique but true. "Happiness feels a lot like sorrow." Also, you can literally feel Isaac's voice, you can almost touch it. The sound of it takes my breath away. Every line is flawless. Please, someone agree with me. This song is breathtaking and legendary.
I don't know how I missed this track when I first heard the album, but this song made me fall in love with The Fray all over again. The emotion and expression in this song are mind-blowing. I cry every time I listen to it, and it purges my soul! Definitely should be in the top ten!
Absolutely love this song. The lyrics mean everything! This should definitely be higher on the list.
It's truly a beautiful song that should get more credit.
If you haven't listened to this, you aren't a true Fray fanatic. The vocals and the music make you go wow!
I am a big fan of The Fray. After years of having their first album back in 2006, this song was too frequent in my playlist. Years later, it became my favorite of The Fray's work.
This song belongs in the third spot. The meaning is endless.
This song is beyond amazing. It really speaks to me. There is something really special about this song, and it always leaves me speechless and makes me cry.
There is something really breathtaking about this song. The meaning is very deep, and the instrumentals are amazing. Simply put.
