Top 10 Best Iron Maiden Album Openers

The Top Ten
  1. Aces High

Great opener for a great album.

Best opener for the best album!

Best opener. This song is awesome, and the solo is a beast.

  2. Caught Somewhere in Time

Just a classic track. It sounds awesome, and the guitar solo is the best.

  3. Sign of the Cross

  4. Moonchild

I still remember the first time I heard Dickinson's first scream after that introduction about the seven sins, the synthesizer, and those crunchy guitars.

"I AM HE, THE BORNLESS ONE!"

It was the first time that Iron Maiden made me feel what all their covers had tried but failed to do: fear. I was genuinely frightened of what was going to come.

This is pretty low for a song that's as good as Aces High. In my opinion, it's way better than Prowler and Invaders. They're getting the credit from the albums, while Moonchild is a strong song on its own.

  5. Where Eagles Dare

  6. The Wicker Man

  7. Prowler

  8. If Eternity Should Fail

It's their third best opener, in my opinion (after Aces High and Caught Somewhere in Time). Hope it moves up on this list soon.
