Best Songs on Goldfrapp's Black Cherry

This didn't standout from the very start but over time it grew into something I became so enamored by that it stands as one of my all time favorite Goldfrapp songs.

One of the songs that doesn't directly discuss sexuality oddly has one of the most sexual rhythms of the album's songs. From that whiplike beat to the fuzzy synths, it's sex jam for the ages.

The departure from Felt Mountain was clear. With dirty, crunchy synths, this song launched a new direction for Goldfrapp while retaining the calming atmospherics of the previous album underneath the main arrangement.

This one has the most straightforward lyrics and a rumbling beat that's irresistible to groove along to, plus a commanding vocal performance.

That chorus really gets to you. It's a bit odd but the chugging beat keeps your attention.

It meanders through heavy territory before settling into a calm restful state on a bed of keyboards.

This one most resembles FM along with the title track. It has the electroclash synths but they play in a way that is more ambient than danceable. By the end, you're left wanting more.
