Top 10 Songs You'd Like to See Iron Maiden Perform on Their Book of Souls 2017 Tour
Iron Maiden played a great tour in 2016, and this year it would be fair to assume they'd play the same setlist. But suppose they were to swap around a couple of songs which ones should they bring back and which ones should they keep? This list will be ranked on the basis of how much do you want it heard, how plausible would it be, whether or not they played it last time, which ones you don't want to see go, etc.
Feel free to add your wanted songs below.
A long shot, but not impossible. I'd hate to see what songs they'd have to kick off to squeeze this one in, but it'd probably be worth it with Bruce's way of telling a story through song and that ominous middle section.
More likely to return. It's not too long a track, it's a catchy shredder and a firm fan favourite.
Last time they didn't play anything from their Seventh Son album. It would be nice to hear the title track again.
A once common live song, but one that pretty much everyone would be familiar with. I personally would swap it with Wasted Years as I feel this song works better as a show closer.
Last time I saw them they played Blood Brothers, so it would also be good to hear this kickass song.
Last tour they played Children of the Damned, and the tour before that they played The Prisoner, so it would only make sense they play this one as a way of cycling through songs on The Number of the Beast album.
Has never been played live before, but there's always a first time for everything. This one wouldn't eat up too much of a set and I'm sure the band have played tougher songs. It could happen.
Iron Maiden's newer work often gets forgotten. Whilst I would like mostly classic Maiden a couple of 2000s songs wouldn't go amiss either, particularly this one from A Matter of Life and Death.
One of the Book of Souls songs I hope they keep, as it's a tribute to the late Robin Williams. Keep playing this song to honour a man who brought a smile to so many faces.
Come on, do I even need to say why? It's Hallowed Be Thy Name, of course I'd want them to keep this one.
