Countries Most Likely to Invade the United States In the Future

The Top Ten
  1. China

China, officially the People's Republic of China, is a country in East Asia. It is the world's second-most populous country, with a population exceeding 1.4 billion people. China spans five geographical time zones and shares land borders with 14 countries, second only to Russia in the number of neighboring... read more

That is mostly correct, if not completely correct. One has to remember that they are the oldest, longest-lasting (still living) civilization, period.

So, my point is that they may not have to attack us at all. It is more likely that they will wait for the rest of us to kill each other off, or, even better, that they will manipulate other countries to do the dirty work for them. Even better yet is that they will just own everything, which ends up with them being the ruler of the world.

Anyways, yes, they should be classified as the number one threat to America. The more aggressive one would be North Korea, then either Russia or Iran. However, I would have to say China would most likely be behind the whole thing, or perhaps Russia. They haven't made a play in some time, and starving wolves make for dangerous and shaky alliances.

  2. North Korea

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, also known as North Korea, is a country in Eastern Asia. Its capital is Pyongyang. It is currently ruled by the Juche leader Kim Jong-Un, who inherited the title from his father, Kim Jong-Il, who in turn inherited it from his father, Kim Il-Sung.... read more

North Korea has long seemed to just be irrational in general. While I don't think they would literally invade us, I do think a nuclear attack, although not very likely, would come from them if anyone.

Russia is large, powerful, and doesn't like us. Putin, however, is smart and knows the damage that would occur if we were to retaliate. I don't think that matters to Kim, and that's what makes him dangerous.

I have to agree on this one because North Korea has proven to have great leadership for their people and government. The U.S. wants more oil fields, and this place (North Korea) has got a lot. But as a lone wolf nation, the North Koreans say "No" because they know how this system works in other nations. This is a decree by Kim Il-sung. So I am proud of leader Kim Jong-un for getting them yanks off their ground.

  3. Russia

Russia, or the Russian Federation (RF), is a transcontinental country spanning Eastern Europe and Northern Asia. It is the largest country in the world by area, covering over 17,125,191 square kilometres (6,612,073 sq mi), and encompassing one-eighth of Earth's inhabitable landmass.... read more

I tend to agree. Russia, with its fixed elections and deteriorating relations with the U.S., may collaborate with other friendly nations, whether from the former Eastern bloc or with communist China, to slowly invade the U.S., whether through vast amounts of strategically placed sleeper cells (some still here from the Cold War) or from direct invasion with other nations' cooperation.

Would it succeed? Maybe, but the casualties would be so severe any invading force would soon be eliminated via resistance. Except maybe California and New York due to the gun control laws in place there.

Maybe with Trump's election, Russia and the US won't go to war as quickly, but it seems inevitable. Even with good relations for four or even eight years, that would just put the tension on pause. After his presidency is over, I can't think of a plausible scenario that doesn't lead to full-blown war.

  4. Iran

Iran, also known as Persia, officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a sovereign state in Western Asia. The capital city is Tehran, and the major city is also Tehran. The country's official language is Persian.

Iran is home to one of the world's oldest civilizations, beginning with the formation... read more

Sixty percent of the world's oil reserves are over here in the Persian Gulf! And Iran has enough missiles to destroy most of the oil wells and oil refineries in Arab states around the Gulf.

  5. Mexico

Mexico, officially the United Mexican States, is a federal republic located in North America. The country is situated between the U.S. and Central America, and is known for its Pacific and Gulf of Mexico beaches and its diverse landscape of mountains, deserts, and jungles.

This will be very great. Mexico should attack North Korea, Spain, and the USA.

Donald Trump will be very happy when he hears this. Mexico will lose. The USA is more powerful in the military. Respect from Russia and the Soviet Union!

  6. Cuba

Cuba, officially the Republic of Cuba, is a sovereign state comprising the island of Cuba as well as Isla de la Juventud and several minor archipelagos.

Cuba maybe, but only if Russia and China also invaded and helped them directly with troops.

If it is in the best interest of the world, it could happen. We are going off the rails fast, and the world may need protection from Trump et al.

I think Canada is pretending to be peaceful when they are actually planning to fight with the U.S. to take over the world and make the United Province of Americada.
