All of them are loose cotton fitting and comfortable to wear. Designs, patterns are unique to every city itself. However, it is sad to say, that the new generation choose Western over traditional. The reason is that the Indian Cotton is being replaced by satin, nylon and other itchy man made fibres and are made tight, uncomfortable to wear. The simple and pretty designs are replaced with fancy laces, dangles, ribbons etc. Also I hope that these materials are ' Made in India'
Sari is the most versatile garment ever invented.
It can be worn by women with any body shape and there is always an elegant style that will suit a particular body shape
A woman will always look elegant is a sari any there will.be no negative stereotype response based on physucal form..
I dare any one to name one garment in the world barring the kimono to match the grace of a woman wearing a saree.
And all kinds of fabrics, be THEY natural or man made are suitable of sarees. Can one say that of any other garment in the world.

Nepal and Nepalese fought few wars with Muslims rulers from India and were not defeated. Later Nepalese fought wars with British India five times in a row but Nepali were not defeated whereas most of the Indian subcontinent was ruled by British. Unity in diversity.
