Lebanon has probably also been the only true democratic country in the Middle East for the past several decades. You are allowed to speak anything you want about the President in public (this would get you imprisoned in most Arab countries), and there are many T.V. shows that mock politicians.
The government does have some problem maintaining some of its infrastructure because of the severe costs of destruction caused by the Israeli airstrikes, but in the end the people are happy, nice, truly open-minded, and party freely!
