Best Pre-Workout Supplements
Going to the gym since I was 15 and using all types of pre-workout goodies since age 24, it's time we had a top ten list of the best brands/products to take before working out... In my opinion of course.PAN!C doesn't fill their product with a bunch of sugary, syrupy substances to make it taste better. It delivers a fantastic pump with the right amount of energy. It has PEA, which is a great mood and focus enhancer.
Works so well! I get a great pump for my workout and energy without feeling jittery. I can still go running afterward, unlike with other pre-workouts where running is impossible for me.
Got this at a local nutrition shop. It was good. Recommended.
This is a solid supplement and has been for a while. I've taken it for several cycles. It may or may not contain 1-3 dimethylamylamine, which is a banned substance in drug-tested athletics.
It actually enhances the metabolism of the body as well as energizes the mitochondria of the cell.
This pre-workout will give you an incredible pump and unbelievable levels of energy. Make sure you take it at least four hours before going to bed.
C4 makes me want to stay on the treadmill for an extra three miles!
The first pre-workout supplement I ever took, and I loved it. The energy level is off the charts. However, the pump doesn't extend throughout the day.
My friend and I used to love this stuff before hitting the weights!
Super Pump has great flavors and doesn't cost too much either. There is a "max" version of this now, which I haven't tried. But if it really is an improvement and not just marketing, it should prove well.
Besides the awful lemonade flavor, N.O. delivers nicely.
To be honest, this tends to have a little too much niacin in the serving size. Having said that, as long as I didn't wear sweats while working out, this was a solid supplement.
Creatine is unbeatable. The "secret," however, is to saturate the body with regular doses every day, whether in the gym or not.
Creatine complex, which gives a massive rush of energy.
Sheer caffeine and lots of it. If you're looking for an intense form of energy, this is definitely it.
The best pre-workout for someone who has a strong tolerance!
It is mental. The buzz lasts so long it's amazing.
Laugh it up, but if you mix a sugar-free energy drink with creatine and glutamine powder, well, my friends, you have a pre-workout supplement. This is sort of a last resort and is pricey per scoop.
If you don't have access to any other option and are on a tight budget, you can't go wrong with some plain old vitamin intake 30 minutes before a hard workout.
