  1. The Path to the Pokémon League

    Ash acts like a total brat in this episode after losing to someone even stronger than him.

    I liked this episode. I just hated Ash in it.

  2. It's Mr. Mime Time

    It's really, really dumb and bad, especially by today's standards.

  3. Friend and Foe Alike

    Though it wasn't the fact that Ash lost that match that was the problem. It was how he loses.

    First, Team Rocket annoyingly shows up and captures Ash right before his match with Ritchie. Ash returns late, Squirtle gets knocked out in seconds, then Pikachu, who had already exhausted itself with Team Rocket, gets sent out. Then Ash brings out Charizard, who takes out Charmander, then refuses to obey Ash yet again and costs him the match. The worst part is that Ritchie never actually beats Ash.

    Charizard makes Magikarp look like Mewtwo in this episode.

  4. The Ultimate Test

    I personally didn't care much about this episode. Ash and Team Rocket take part in a test where, if they passed, they would automatically get into the Pokemon League. The whole test is complete bull.

    I mostly enjoyed the battle between Ash and the Instructor, but everything else was stupid and forced.

    Ash knew he was trash.

  6. Who Gets to Keep Togepi?

    A completely pointless episode. Togepi hatches, then they hold a little tournament to see who gets to keep it. Ash wins, however, according to Dexter, Togepi becomes attached to whoever it sees first, which is Misty, so what was the whole point of all that?

    Togepi only saw Misty first because Misty shoved everybody out of the way. What a total B****

  7. The Kangaskhan Kid

    Those parents. Just ugh. Why did Officer Jenny not arrest them as soon as they confessed to dropping a child out of a helicopter? And Ash and co. help them get their kid back. Just no.

    Probably one of the WORST examples of bad parenting in anime!

    THANK YOU! What an awful episode. The worst parenting I've ever seen in any media, and the voice of that kid, shouting Kanga, Kanghaas, Kangha Kangha, Kanga Kangaskhan, is ear-bleedingly annoying.

    This is the episode that gave Japanese kids seizures, in case you don't know.

    It gave people seizures. What else needs to be said?

  10. Challenge of the Samurai

    I can't believe this didn't get added to the list yet. Basically, the Samurai is a hypocrite for calling Ash a bad person for not finishing what he started when he interrupted him from catching that Weedle.

    Don't blame your failure on me. Your Pokemon handling is dimwitted and clumsy. Actually, he was doing perfectly fine until YOU HELD HIM AT SWORD POINT!

    I HATE THAT SAMURAI FROM THAT EPISODE!

    It is wrong to leave your first pokemon behind. At least Pikachu came back to Ash.
