   I thought they were supposed to save punk when they came out, but they turned out to be for squalling brats who didn't go to any Ramones shows in the Seventies, because they weren't born yet. I call it kiddie punk. What a farce.

   Green Day was barely even punk rock before Dookie came out, but after that? Forget about it. American Idiot is nowhere near punk! Just listen to the drums! Same with 21st Century Breakdown, which was somehow even less punk.

   Green Day aren't punk rock but they are pop punk. Doesn't mean they are bad though. They are in my top five bands.

   This is the number one poser. I mean, I can see why other people would call the other bands poser bands, but this, this is POP. Not POP PUNK. Just POP!

   Pure pop music. I have no clue why there are so many people out there trying to claim that this band is punk.

   Pff, these guys are just a bunch of asses who think that by making cheesy songs for 11-year-old girls and making stupid faces they're punk. They're a shame for the genre, just another cool-wanna be band that will be forgotten in three years.

   Let's not forget about their debut album, Bullets, which actually was punk. And fantastic punk at that. Fairly misfit-esque. Everything after was emo/pop punk, though.
