After mistakenly being confused as a rock band, dubstep producer, or something else, Tech N9ne is definitely respected in the metal realm. After collaborating with Five Finger Death Punch and covering LL Cool J's song Mama Said Knock You Out, people really started getting into Tech. He has his own record label, Strange Music, and has also collaborated with System of a Down's lead vocalist, Serj Tankian. Not to mention his upcoming rap rock band, K.A.B.O.S.H. He will most definitely be considered a legend in the Rap Rock music genre.
I mean, he did a collab with Corey Taylor. Besides that, his songs usually tend to be aggressive and heavy, which is something many heavy metal acts also have in common.

As the rap vocalist of Linkin Park, there is absolutely no doubt that he is respected by people who listen to metal. He is an amazing rapper and has made a huge number of hits with Linkin Park.
As the rapper of Linkin Park, he gets a lot of respect. However, I don't think he is that talented.

Zachary de la Rocha is a legend and definitely one of the best to ever do it. As the vocalist of the Nu Metal band Rage Against the Machine, he has created some of the best rap rock songs I've ever heard.
Zack should definitely bring back RATM. They really inspired me as a child.
The best rapper in the rap-metal genre. He does a good job delivering messages in his songs.

He is talented. I usually don't listen to rap, but the oldies are AWESOME.

I am genuinely surprised he ranked so low, considering he is the frontman of a really good crossover thrash band. Moreover, I know there's barely anyone in my metal community who likes Nu Metal, but everyone knows and listens to Body Count.
I never knew much about him until I discovered one of the best bands I've ever heard: Body Count. He actually was part of the reason I started looking into hip hop and rap a bit more.

Fred Durst is hands down one of the best to have ever made it possible. As the lead vocalist of the Nu Metal band Limp Bizkit, which is now signed to Cash Money Records, Fred Durst has definitely made history. He has created a handful of anthems for metalheads to enjoy.
His lyrics are powerful and aggressive, and he knows how to pump you up and make you want to punch someone in the face. Limp Bizkit is amazing!

Once a part of the rapcore band Hollywood Undead, Deuce has really made an impact as one of the most respected rappers by people who enjoy metal. He used to sing the hooks in Hollywood Undead but was later replaced by Danny.
I personally think Danny is better off with Hollywood Undead, but I also wish Deuce had never been kicked out.

Yes, the Eminem-inspired underground rapper Hopsin is respected by many people who love different types of music genres. Hopsin is definitely one of the best rappers to ever do it and is also one of my favorite rappers.
