No Black Metal has repetetive lyrics.For me here is how I put these genres.
Thrash Metal=Good but can be repetetive
Hard Rock=Kinda sucks but not that bad but is overrated
Black Metal=Really sucks and is edgy and is also overrated but not as overrated as Hard Rock

Thrash metal has bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Overkill, And Testament. Hard rock has bands like Motörhead. Black metal is boring, repetitive, and awful.
Metallica, Guns N Roses, etc.
Thrash metal musicians write albums like Ride The Lightning, Rust In Peace, The New Order, Seasons In The Abyss, etc. Black metal < Thrash Metal.

You seem to be forgetting Ulver, who took a HUGE risk by switching to more electronic music and still making it as good as their black metal works.

Thrash metal and hard rock don’t? Thrash doesn’t have that many sub genres, but that’s not a reason. Hard rock has heavy metal, and a whole ton of subgenres come from that.
