Samurai Jack! He is one badass!

I always like Samurai Jack since I was 9 when it came out in 2001. I was even him on my 11th Halloween 🎃 in 2003. The end of season 4 didn't seemed a proper ending and I was surprised it finally came back.

Ashi was exactly what the series needed. Her redemption arc was both compelling and interesting to watch. She was a female lead done right rather than being relegated to a basic love interest with nothing other to her character.

I admire how this character, unlike Jack, was not raised to be honourable and generous as Jack was. Instead she defied her upbringing and made her own choices. That gave her a little more depth as a character than Jack for me.

Speaking of, I feel she allowed the writers to bring out more aspects of Jack's personality instead of the stoic character we've come to know.

It was an excellent move giving the series a secondary main character and Ashi is the perfect fit. Her backstory, development, character and role in their series make her an amazing character.

In a way, not only was season 5 about Jack's story, but it also became Ashi's story as well.
